Oh my god. What an amazing place! ❤️ Staff was perfect. There were also staff who did speek english. Room was just everything we needed. So comfortable bed and space. Dinner and breakfast. 10/10. Traditional japanese kaiseki- dinner, couldn hope any better. Public onsen and also private onsen were beautiful. Just loved this place.

The accommodation was in a good location right next to the train station for transport to arrive into Hakone and to get buses to Lake Ashi/Mt Kintoki area, for restaurants an shops. The beds were mats on the floor and were very comfortable. We used the onsen during our stay which was a lovely experience. We recommend a stay here. The staff were very helpful and kind.

Lovely staff, beautiful idyllic grounds, especially with the autumn colours. Spacious rooms with a private onsen as well as the option of two larger public onsens too. Fantastic kaiseki meals which included lobster, uni, oysters, perfectly done beef, and the freshest of sashimi. We had a memorable stay, except that two nights was too short!

Location, style, cleanliness, and staff. The garden area made for some awesome pictures. And, of course, the onsen. Although it was not in our private room, the onsen was public private……meaning; the onsen was in a common enclosed area, and if shoes are seen on the outside, that means it is occupied.
