The hotel is beautiful, what you can usually expect from AC hotels. The infinity pool is sublime. Beds are very comfortable. It was about a 15 minute walk to beaches from the property, so well located if you don't mind a bit of a hike uphill on the way back. Close to shops/ mall and great restaurants, too.
Location, beach and ambience could not be better. Compared to the hysterical places south of black rock, this property is a haven of peace and chill. This is also one of few hotels where the public promenade pass behind and not in front of the hotel.
unbeatable location, amazing value compared to Westin, Hyatt, Sheraton, Marriott because for 50% less cost, the rooms are twice as big…and free parking compared to $40 per day elsewhere.
You walk in and the smell is so welcoming! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Room was super clean and nice! Great experience, loved the location as well! Anywhere I travel I will be staying at an AC Marriott when there is one now
What’s not to love? LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! beautiful beach front, comfortable, spacious condo, gorgeous manicured grounds full of plumeria trees, easy parking. Very friendly staff. Cabana right on the beach to rent snorkels. There is a huge reef just down the beach in front of the Westin. Gorgeous pool with ample chairs. We will definitely stay here again.
The surrounding grounds gave you a true flavor of HI, unlike the manufactured Disney like feel of the Westin, Sheraton and Hyatt properties.
great check in experience, fantastic beach location and walking proximity to some restaurants within Westin resort next door and also a food truck park. rooms were spacious and clean. pool area was great. cabanas for rental on the beach as well as snorkelling equipment was useful. easy to park.
It's a beautiful setting. Facilities are excellent. Getting there on the Hana road is a challenge. The staff was amazing. We had ruined a tire on the drive in. The rental car company hauled out a replacement. Lea, at the registration desk, did an outstanding job coordinating between us and the rental car company. Entire staff was friendly and helpful.
Poor service. Westin used to be a company with a culture of customer service. Since Marriot is part of the group I had notice that the only thing that interests Marriot is to collect money. I understand that companies must be profitable to live, but Marriot cannot find a middle point where they make money and customer service happens naturally. I miss the old model based in customer service.
