The nearest airport is Kiruna, 17 km from Camp Caroli, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Excellent location on the lake that you take the snowmobiles directly from. Sauna and fire outside above the arctic circle was the best. Cannot recommend staying here for a northern Sweden adventure more highly.

We loved everything about this place and its surroundings. Great place for both one night stayover or for longer holiday.

Set in Piteå, 8.9 km from Piteå Bus Station, Northern Lodges offers accommodation with a terrace, free WiFi and a concierge service. The property features mountain and river views, and is 13 km from Piteå Golf Club. Staying at the lodge was a great experience. Both Joakim and Marten are very nice and at hand for any support. The sauna was the cherry on the cake and a great experience to heat it yourself, get warm water for showering from it etc.
Gällivare
Featuring a garden, a terrace, and barbecue facilities, Taiga Forest Lodge offers accommodation in Gällivare with free WiFi and garden views. Boasting free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking, skiing and fishing. This property is absolutely beautiful and in such a remote but stunning setting. Would recommend a car but we had no issues with the roads despite the snowfall. We stayed only one night with our two daughters (4,2) and found everything as we needed. The house itself is beautiful and so thoughtfully decorated. We spent the morning enjoying the snow and taking advantage of the kicksleds and sleds that were available that the kids absolutely loved. Lots of opportunities to spot wildlife too although we unfortunately didn’t spot any local roaming Moose. Look forward to returning. The host was super attentive and was on hand if needed.

Ideally located with great views, the kitchen is perfectly equipped. The hosts are very nice and helpful but also respecting your privacy. Simply paradise!

Offering rooms with a lake view and modern furnishings, this property is 22 km from Kiruna and 35 minutes’ drive from Nikkaluokta. It features a cosy, bookable restaurant cabin with a personal chef. WiFi and parking are free. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

The location is great and beautiful. There are cabins for family and all the attractions are close to the lodge. The staff are friendly and helpful.
The lounge, the food and you can start walking from the lodge. It is easy to reach with the train. Relaxibg in the sauna..
Wonderful location next to the reindeer. The cabin was clean and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly, both at the lodge and the restaurant.
We stayed in the private apartment. It was clean, shower was good, and the kitchen had basic supplies. Very short walk to the grocery store and to the restaurant at nearby Abisko Mountain Lodge. They run many activities from there and can help you book with other companies.
The location is fantastic. We walked out of the lodge and up a little hill and there were the Northern Lights. The breakfast is amazing. I have never had such yummy eggs. We loved the bread and cheese too. The main sitting room was lovely, especially with the fire going.
Lovely old mountain style lodge
Simple yet comfortable lodge in a national park . There where nice common areas to hang out in too.
Excellent location, we could see the Northern lights from the Helipad behind the lodge, also the husky ride and Snow mobile was at the same place .
We had a fantastic stay at Abisko Mountain Lodge from the moment we checked in. The lodge is cosy and the staff are great. The food was amazing and highly recommend booking the soup buffet for lunch. The lodge is a short walk from the train station which in the cold was very welcome, we especially appreciated the staff alerting us when the aurora was visible.
