Kiruna Train Station is 23 km from the lodge, while Kiruna Bus Station is 21 km from the property. The nearest airport is Kiruna, 17 km from Camp Caroli, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Excellent location on the lake that you take the snowmobiles directly from. Sauna and fire outside above the arctic circle was the best. Cannot recommend staying here for a northern Sweden adventure more highly.
Gällivare

We had a lovely experience and the host was very friendly.We recommend for anyone to enjoy Taiga Forest Lodge.
Kvikkjokk

A last minute change of plan meant we stayed for a few days at Årrenjarka mountain lodge for a summer break and we absolutely loved it. The staff were very helpful with allowing us to check in at a convenient time and helped us find new trekking routes. The silence of the area was pure joy. We hope to return for a winter break.
Nikkaluokta
Each cottage has fresh decor and a private bathroom. Guests will find bunk beds, and a kitchenette fitted with an oven, stovetop and kettle. There is a small table where you can view the surrounding nature. Location and interior and cleanliness
Kiruna
Offering rooms with a lake view and modern furnishings, this property is 22 km from Kiruna and 35 minutes’ drive from Nikkaluokta. It features a cosy, bookable restaurant cabin with a personal chef. WiFi and parking are free. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.
Abisko
Rooms at Abisko Mountain Lodge include free WiFi and a private bathroom with shower. Cottages feature a kitchenette and private toilet. The shared shower facilities are located in the sauna and relaxation area, 30 metres from the cottages. Great breakfast selection, friendly staff and amazing location. Was very pleased at how accommodating they were to my dietary requirements. Also a very cosy room!!
Kiruna
Situated only 5 km from Kiruna, Máttaráhkká Northern Light Lodge offers beautiful mountain views. Facilities include a sauna, a hot tub and lounge with a fireplace. The lodge is ideal for guests wanting to experience activities such as cross-country skiing, snowmobile tours and for observing the Northern Lights. Great accommodations and helpful staff!
Kiruna
JVT Cabins features a shower. There is running water in a service house as well as a kitchen in another service house. The toilets are located in an outhouse.

The house was really great, perfect for a family with 3 children. We really like Swedish Lapland and the house is the perfect place for adventures in nature... it's our second time in this house, last time we were here in summer, now we enjoyed the winter (ski touring, hiking up Pyhäkiellinen near Skaulo, husky and snowmobile safaris in Lappeasuando ...)
The lounge, the food and you can start walking from the lodge. It is easy to reach with the train. Relaxibg in the sauna..
Wonderful location next to the reindeer. The cabin was clean and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly, both at the lodge and the restaurant.
We stayed in the private apartment. It was clean, shower was good, and the kitchen had basic supplies. Very short walk to the grocery store and to the restaurant at nearby Abisko Mountain Lodge. They run many activities from there and can help you book with other companies.
The location is fantastic. We walked out of the lodge and up a little hill and there were the Northern Lights. The breakfast is amazing. I have never had such yummy eggs. We loved the bread and cheese too. The main sitting room was lovely, especially with the fire going.
Lovely old mountain style lodge
Simple yet comfortable lodge in a national park . There where nice common areas to hang out in too.
Excellent location, we could see the Northern lights from the Helipad behind the lodge, also the husky ride and Snow mobile was at the same place .
We had a fantastic stay at Abisko Mountain Lodge from the moment we checked in. The lodge is cosy and the staff are great. The food was amazing and highly recommend booking the soup buffet for lunch. The lodge is a short walk from the train station which in the cold was very welcome, we especially appreciated the staff alerting us when the aurora was visible.
The Lodge is really nice, cosy, comfortable. The welcome you wish when arriving in Abisko. The room (superior) was pretty big and characteristic. Good restaurant (the only one probably in Abisko when we got there) and good breakfast! The hall has a cosy area with books and board games, and a small shop. The personnel is kind and gives good suggestions. There is a flat high ground area 3 min walking (helicopter base) with darker sky where to spot aurora! Sauna is a plus.
