Situated in Marahau, 38 km from Nelson, Abel Tasman Lodge features a hot tub and sauna. Abel Tasman National Park is within a 5-minute walk from the property. Free unlimited WiFi as well as free off-road parking is available. Beautiful clean unit and they even made up the bed when we were out.
Motueka
Set 2.5 km from Tapu Bay Beach, Eden's Edge Lodge offers accommodation with a shared lounge, a garden and a shared kitchen for your convenience. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. This lodge is just amazing! The rooms are very comfortable, the owners are very kind, the facilities are of high quality (over 300 DVDs, an arcade video game from the 90's, books and games), and the breakfast is excellent! Very well located also if you want to take a cruise from Kaiteriteri to hike in Abel Tasman National Park.
Pohara
Situated in the heart of Pohara Beach at Golden Bay, Ratanui Lodge was fully refurbished in winter 2021, it offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and free continental breakfast in a beautiful natural setting. It boasts a saltwater swimming pool, a restaurant and a lounge bar. Beautiful location, amazing rooms. The managers are amazing
Richmond
Offering unlimited free WiFi and bicycle hire against a charge, The Pear Orchard Lodge is situated on a farm and orchard close to Richmond and the Abel Tasman National Park. Nelson is a 20-minute drive from the property. Quaint, country lifestyle and really comfortable place.
Pohara
Boasting a lovely outdoor swimming pool, a hot tub and free Wi-Fi, The Bay Lodge offers stunning views over Golden Bay and the Millennium Reserve.
The Bay Lodge in Pohara is a 10-minute walk from Pohara Beach. Nelson Domestic Airport is less than 2 hours’ drive away.
Filip and Sonya were fabulous hosts-very hospitable and generous with information and recommendations. The shuttle service to Abel Tasman made a day tramping in the park seamless. We enjoyed the accommodations so much we were lucky enough to be able to extend our stay by one day. Pōhara is an excellent location for visiting the Golden Bay and I can’t recommend the Bay Lodge highly enough.
Motueka
Guests have access to a shared outdoor dining area with open fireplace. Electric bikes and kayaks are available for guests to hire. Generous breakfast provisions are placed in the fridge the night before, including eggs from the properties own chickens, ham/salmon and fresh fruit. Special dietary requirements can be catered for. Great locations. Wonderful views of the ocean and the pond with lots of birds.
Kaiteriteri
Dummy Bay Beach is 400 metres from the lodge, while Little Kaiteriteri Beach is less than 1 km from the property. The nearest airport is Nelson, 56 km from the property and a paid airport shuttle service is available. We absolutely loved the property! Especially the spa
Saint Arnaud
With mountain views, Alpine Lodge is set in Saint Arnaud and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden and children's playground. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge.

The spot for the hotel was gorgeous! Wonderful food and waitresses. Sweet rooms.

Everything about our stay. Phillip was an amazing host, lodge was brilliant. Great fire, room was fabulous. You have to stay here. Breakfast was delicious and we loved the location amongst the trees and next to the river.

Beautiful location! The property was so amazingly peaceful, the wee walk out the back gate to the picnic table was perfect. I had tea here, listening to the birdsong, whilst waiting for my friend to arrive. Just a short walk to the lake and to the Alpine Lodge, and no sandflies! Loved it, and would definitely book again if I visited St Arnaud. Pip and Kevin were fabulous hosts and Finn was the wiggliest, happiest doggo.
This lodge is really like being home from home. The host Philip and his family make you feel very welcome. The room is spacious and well equipped along with a fabulous en suite bathroom c/w a little nightlight. The family live in a separate property adjacent so guests can use the kitchen, dining and lounge areas. Breakfast was substantial and included some very tasty home made food stuffs. This lodge would have made an ideal base for several days.

Great location, Scott was super friendly and very attentive. The place was very clean and nice to have outdoor private space. The location of the hot tub was also a bonus, with Mountain View’s in the background. The lodge is within walking distance of the facilities in marahau so a nice break from driving. The lodge can also provide a packed lunch and breakfast if needed which was helpful for hiking days.
Lovely fully equipped cottage with plenty of room for two couples. Clean and comfortable. Booked for dinner which was a superb dining experience. Thanks Chef. Owners exceptionally friendly and helpful. Thank you for solving our Rainbow road lunch problem and for storing our excess luggage for the day. The location is beautiful and the loved the historical main lodge and gardens. What a treasure you have.
