Everything was great. The staff were really friendly and so helpful. Safari was also excellent and great value for money. We saw leopards, bears and elephants and all of our questions were expertly answered throughout. The facilities were also brilliant and clean and the accommodation was lovely.

It was served in the central dining area on the porch next to the pool. The meals were delicious. We also liked the pool and the location with the Wilapattu park right nearby. They arranged the safari for us which picked us up right at TEMBO.
Kalpitiya
Located in Kalpitiya, MKS - Kite & Wing Foil camp provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy free bikes, a garden and a terrace.
Cycling is possible within the area and the lodge offers a private beach area.
Puttalam

The Inn owner and staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly - organising our safari with a fantastic driver/animal spotter. The chef was amazing with ample delicious food each night and providing us with lunch on the safari. The rooms were spacious and clean, the surroundings beautiful and quiet. It was great to talk to other travellers too.
Location ideal for safari in Wilpattu. Staff v welcoming particularly Dylan who went ‘the extra yard’ to make our stay memorable. For the price point very good value for money.
Great tent. Small problem with the zipper and toilet but when we told staff it got fixen immediately. Safari trip was great saw a leopard and a bear.
The surroundings were beautifull with all kind of nice places to relax. The full day safari was a highlight. Prepared lunch could have better type of bread. Wraps were nice

The food and service at The Backwater's Lodge was exceptional and even though we missed our flight connection they rearranged everything without any issue. I recommend a swim in the river after a day safari!
The lodge is beautiful, amazing food, staff were very helpful with organising the safari and taxi to our next town. The room and ensuite very clean and spacious. Overall excellent stay and good value for money.
The host is a well known bioligist who build a few lodges next to the national park entrance and situated in the rice fields. Do not expect any luxury. The money earned go’s after costs back to nature preservation. GO HERE!!
