The breakfast experience is simply amazing, every item in the breakfast set from the home made fluffy potato bread & apple jam to the well cooked mains (we had scrambled eggs and ham) with the dining area right by the hearth, the choice of classical music plus every cutlery, piece of furniture and room decor, you could tell it has been intentionally chosen to create this exquisite experience. Location wise it’s a short walk from echoland where there’s plenty of dinner options. (Do try to make reservations when possible), and it is opposite alpine chalets, one of the shuttle bus pick up points for the goryu-iimori & Hakuba 47 ski resorts. If you are someone who appreciates the little things, this is the perfect place for your stay at Hakuba.

The lodge offers a terrace. Belnina had a very nice family feel. Taka, Seiko and their friend Danny made our stay fantastic. Taka was very helpful with resort information and went beyond by picking us up and dropping us to the station. Seiko and Danny did a great job with breakfast, especially with the homemade baking. The drying room was great and the onsen was a great addition after a day on the slopes. We will definitely be back!

The lodge offers a flat-screen TV and a shared bathroom with free toiletries, a hairdryer and bidet. For added convenience, the property can provide towels and bed linen for an extra charge. Delightful cosy b&b with the most friendly, helpful and generous owners. Rooms are not huge but ample for a couple with lovely outlook over the garden. Breakfast is home cooked and delicious, served in a nice dining room with open fireplace nearby. The owners generously offered to serve us a home cooked meal for dinner one evening as we were having difficulty finding an open restaurant. It was delicious. Private bathrooms are small but adequate however they have a great large indoor bath/spa for guests which was so relaxing. Plenty of lovely places to visit, drives, local onsen etc and the owners have lots of local knowledge and information. Really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. Friendly hosts, great set-up for families, comfortable beds, the private bath and the onsen overlooking the forest was magic after a day skiing

JR Hakuba Train Station is a 10-minute drive away. Great central location and access to Happo One gondola. Host Toshi was exceptional and happy to help with transfers from bus depot and to ski base/restaurants

A continental breakfast is available every morning at the lodge. Really nice and cozy place to stay. Koki is very nice and friendly and will always try to answer our queries. Also love their private bath after a day of snowboarding. Morning and evening shuttle bus between hakuba goryu ski resort and Il Bosco, makes the it easier to get to and back from ski resort (otherwise it will be a 15mins walk).
