It’s a 10-minute drive from the centre of Anbo. All rooms feature an open-air bath. Very clean. Pretty spacious. Lovely tub outside that was great to soak in. Good location - close to Anbo and other little towns, not a far drive from Miyanoura. The ladies left homemade desserts in the fridge each day which was incredible.

The whole compound was lovely, the room was large, decorated in a vintage like style but actually very modern. The shower was great, beds were very comfortable and I loved the free laundry facilities. Generally they provided more facilities and amenities than I expected. Our host was nice and helpful, making the experience even better. We really enjoyed our stay.

Specious rooms and amazing onsen by the river bank. I regret I book other accommodation instead of spending more nights there. If you like nature, quiet, secluded accommodation this is perfect place for you.

Daikanbo is 26 km from the lodge, while Aso Shrine is 28 km from the property. The nearest airport is Kumamoto Airport, 60 km from Ginga no Yado Kinoko2seigo. The man who runs the place is so lovely and extremely accomidating. The rooms are spacious, warm and very comfortable with lovely amenities like a big bathtub and easy to access extras like a private onsen and the observatory, both amazing.

Kinrinko Lake is 49 km from the lodge. The nearest airport is Kumamoto Airport, 55 km from Kurokawa Mori no Cottage. The owner was extremely nice!!! We were late for Yukata renting and I asked her for some advices. Instead she called the rental place and arranged that for us, return our Yukata the next morning when we checked out. (Normally you should return the Yukata by four pm but she talked to the rental place for us!)

Very comfortable and spacious cottages with our own bathroom area. We chose half board option which we really enjoyed. Dinner which was pre- prepared and then just cook yourself was fantastic and delicious. Our hosts were lovely people.
