An American breakfast is available each morning at the lodge. Very cozy, comfortable, very thought through place! We have truly enjoyed it. Although it it very cold during the night this place have very comfortable beds with numerous blankets and a little portable heater. The dining area is very clean and well planned. In addition they have excellent restaurants with birdwatching across the street, which is phenomenal for photographers. The property located in close proximity to scenic hiking trails with waterfalls and forest. The place is very kid friendly, highly recommended

Offering a typical and healthy restaurant and free WiFi, Mirador de Quetzales Lodge is located in Tres de Junio de Dota, with the gates just over the road on km marker 70 of the South Inter-american Highway. Adorable cabin with great views. It gets COLD at night, but the room was stocked with more cozy blankets than we needed. Staff was lovely — kind and helpful. Dinner at the property was the best we’ve had on our month in CR.

We had breakfast at Miriams cafe a few minutes walk uphill and there saw a wonderful array of birds including hummingbirds, acorn woodpeckers, toucan and many more. A delight. Our cabin 0 was wonderful. We loved it.
