Saw all the big 5 and more, eating on the deck over the wetlands i watched cheetahs, lions, elephants, crocodiles etc go about there day. Patrick was my ranger on tours and was very informative and easy to talk too. Accomodation was very clean and tidy, all the staff were so lovely and accommodating. The midday massage between tours was perfect. A must do park when traveling. Enjoy!

It was an amazing stay at Madikwe. The game drives in the morning and evening were amazing, we had a very skilled ranger who knew a lot and saw a lot of animals. The rooms were spacious and clean and at the waterhole there were always animals to watch. The staff was so friendly and helpful, food was also delicious. I can warmy recommend going there, I will surely return one day.

Excellent, warm and friendly staff. The waterhole, 50 yards from the lodge, had a constant stream of animals: elephants, Rhinos, Giraffes, and numerous others. This was my fifth 3 day safari and I was amazed with the quality of the lodge, food and animal sightings on the twice daily drives.

Amazing experience. Very intimate small lodge with an authentic feel. Food was superb. Staff and service were wonderful. Twice daily game drives were incredible. Our ranger was very knowledgeable and worked hard to make sure we had the best experience and were lucky to see all the Mag 7 the park has to offer. You will not be disappointed!

What a place! I could honestly go on forever about how amazing Madikwe Hills Private Game Lodge is! We were return travelers and had another truly incredible stay. From stunningly beautiful rooms, wonderful and very friendly staff, absolutely amazing wildlife and delicious food- nothing is short of perfect. We just wish we stayed longer! We will definitely be back!

Simply perfect! Everything was great - the staff was so nice and friendly, room was astonishingly good (, all the food was excellent, many ammenities, beautiful hotel and the routine, ah, we will miss the routine - 2 very long and pleasant game drives per day, during which we were fortunate enough to see the main / most wanted animals; our ranger was very good in the explanations too, and complemented our views.

Everything was excellent. The staff was super nice and friendly. The games were awesome with so many animals and the drivers from the reserve are communicating in case someone sees a rare animal in order for the others to find it. There were not a lot of options for food, but everything was very delicious. The room was super clean and the staff was cleaning every time we were away. Our 7 year old daughter was enjoying the bigger swimming pool. After all the most important are the games (you have 2 games included per each night of your stay) and since this was our first safari I heard from many other people that you can't see so many animals in the other reserves. Our family highly recommends this lodge and Madikwe game reserve!!!
