We had an amazing time at the Tau Lodge. The facilities were great, the staff excellent and we loved the game drives. Besides the animals we saw, the thing that really stood out were the cottages and housekeeping.

Featuring a restaurant that includes outdoor dining by a Boma bonfire, Rhulani Safari Lodge in the Big 5 Madikwe Game Reserve also offers wildlife viewing opportunities.

The lodge is beautiful and so peaceful. So many lovely touches in the room and it was very clean and well equipped. Very special watching elephants from our decking and the hide each day! The staff were absolutely lovely, nothing too much trouble and so friendly and welcoming. The food was good and lovely pool area. The game drives were amazing, we love safari but Rhulani really is special as James was an exceptional guide. He was so knowledgeable, personable and had such a lovely nature that he made the trip for us - thank you! We had the most amazing 5 days and can't wait to return.

The lodge is beautiful, in touch with nature all around it. Our lodge had views to the water hole where lots of animals drank water, we could see elephants through our window, it was wonderful. The ranger (Elliot) took us in amazing safari game drives around the park twice a day. The staff is so friendly and helpful, the food is delicious. We totally loved it! Can’t wait to go back

With garden views, Impodimo Game Lodge is situated in Madikwe Game Reserve and has a restaurant, a kids' club, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Complimentary WiFi is available.

Impodimo Game Lodge was perfect! We did the all-inclusive option. Everything was streamlined. The cottage was beautiful and had all the amenities. Cottage 4 was right next to a path where elephants walked frequently! All of the staff were lovely. On the game drives we were made as comfortable as possible with blankets and water. Impodimo has both a ranger and a tracker per vehicle, which provided a unique experience. Each game drive also had a stop for a beverage and a little snack.

Amazing game lodge, with an exceptional location and a very friendly staff. The game drives are exceptional. The presence of the water pond, right in front of the lodge is a big plus, since animals gather there in large numbers. Rooms are very confortable with a terrace facing the pond.

We’d been lucky enough to visit various lodges in Madikwe before, but were really impressed by every aspect of Tau Lodge. From its fabulous location - with all rooms and the dining deck overlooking a genuinely busy water hole - to exceptional staff and fine food, I couldn’t recommend this too highly. We will return!

The lodges are really nice, strategically located in front of a waterhole that attracts various species of animals. The staff was nice and helpful and the food was delicious. All the game drives have been incredibile, we've seen a lot of animals and different landscapes. A special thank you to our ranger James who is very passionate and knowledgeable about the reserve's wildlife and made every single drive an unforgettable experience. I higly recommend.

The only mistake we made was to have just 1 night at the lodge. The location is perfect, right in the game area. Guide Fortune is one of the best, he knows where and when to look for the best sightings! The staff is the most friendly you will find and the food was delicious. Will come back one day! TLDR: if you like safari and are enthusiastic about the bush, this is the place to be!

Fantastic stay for our first Safari ever. Madikwe is very rich regarding wildlife and Tau Game Lodge offered a truly luxurious experience. Food was exceptional and staff was as friendly and as competent as it can be. In contrast to other lodges, Tau is situated right at the biggest water hole of Madikwe, so it is not just you heading to the animals during Your Game drives but the animals also come visit You during Your stay at the lodge. Be prepared to have an "Elephant in the (Hotel) room". Literally.
