Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
It doesn’t qualify to be called a hotel maybe a motel or lodge, definitely not four star more like zero star. The bathrooms smelled like the products used to clean pit toilets, the shower had no door but a short blood stained curtain. There was no toilet paper we had to use our own as it was never replenished and requested to no avail. When we ordered food off the menu they gave us higher prices than were written on the menu.
The garden and the Service was very good.
The rooms were big and nice. Parkingpleace and the Lodge is also secured.
Especially how they serve the breakfest was awsome.
You get a lot for your money there.
The place is simple but has everything you need. Service and food is slow but good. Value for money is above average compared to similar lodges in Rwanda. Definitely the recommended place to go on the lake close to Gisenyi.
The location is quite nice, close to the lake but it’s about 7km to the city and 5km to Rubavu Beach. Therefore it’s a quiet area but good for relaxing. The lodge itself is nicely built and has nice views to the lake. It is not lakefront though. The food at the restaurant was very good and the staff is friendly.
I believe this is the most stunning lodge I have ever visited. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the rooms to the staff. I cannot praise the staff highly enough; they were incredibly helpful, friendly, and engaging in conversation. They truly are the heart of this lodge. Additionally, what I loved most was the fireplace, which adds a unique touch. The decoration was also exceptional, displaying a great deal of taste and modernity
Merci beaucoup, je reviendrai :-)
It was like a little paradise. The view was amazing, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious. We stopped for a small break and to relax in our round trip of Rwanda and it was worth it. We also had some car trouble not far from the lodge and Emmanuel, who works at Inzu Lodge, came right away to our aid.
The scenery of Inzu Lodge was amazing. It was amazing if you just want to read a book while enjoying the beautiful view, whether sitting in front of your tent or at the restaurant. Also the food at the restaurant was really good.
Really comfortable lodge at a stunning location: very lush and green gardens and beautiful view over lake Kivu, with the opportunity to swim. Our room was very comfi and had a great view of the lake. Great communicatuon with the reception, host made sure to call us in advance when we were going to arrive in the evening so that dinner could be prepared for us.
