It has been a few months since my stay at My Hill Eco Lodge and I still dream about waking up to those views. The facilities are basic and the lodge itself is nothing fancy, but the location is stunning and there is nothing quite as peaceful as waking up to those views and have breakfast on the balcony or taking a boat ride at dawn to the lodge. I highly recommend!

The site where the lodge is located is stunning. It takes a boat ride on the lake to reach the lodge. Beautiful. The room was very comfortable. The rooms are like individual small bungalows. The path between reception and the rooms is very cute. The sunrise in the morning is not to be missed. Make sure to go on the hike or the boat ride. The team was very helpful and welcoming. Special thanks to Gervais, Virginie and Jeandamour!

This place was independently recommended twice to us as a great place to stay. We are glad that we checked it out, as we had a truly wonderful trip! The lake views both from the rooms and the main lounge are outstanding! We stayed in a safari tent (with ensuite bathroom) was very comfortable. Gervais and the staff were wonderful and very helpful. You can get there by boat, Gervais can organize this.

This is my favorite lodge during my travel around Ruanda. Spacious and clean apartment with stunning view of the volcanoes and the lake. The sunset was amazing. Staff was very friendly and also the food was good. I arrived by motorbike. The road was beautiful and manageable. With a car I would rather take their ferry transfer.

Stunning location and an incredible experience travelling to My Hill Eco Lodge by boat. The staff are kind and welcoming, the food served was good, and the activities available to travellers allow you to make the most of your time visiting the Twin Lakes. As a solo traveller, I felt very comfortable there.

Wonderful lodge overlooking the lake and volcanoes. Staff is perfect and willing to help. The food was good, the rooms had balconies with stunning views. They do organise excursions in the region and boat trips. Lodge very safe and quiet. The road to the lodge is doable by a car, we did it on RAV4 there and back with no problems, despite roads are bad, but not that much bad. From main road its about 16 km to the lodge. We want to come back again.

A stunning place to spend a few days away from everything. There is a boat shuttle to get to the lodge. The rooms and the tents are both very nice with furniture made locally. We had an amazing time watching the sunset on the terrace, with a makala to keep us warm. Great walks around the hotel with nice views on the lake and volcano. Staff is very friendly Food is simple and delicious!
