Lilly’s Lodges are an absolute gem in Orkney! The Hedgehog Lodge was clean, well furnished and and fully organised for our stay. We had access to a full-equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed, sofa, bathroom with shower and outside terrace with tables and two chairs. Super recommended!

    An absolutely brilliant place to stay when visiting Orkney. Dorothy and Andy were amazing hosts and have thought of everything to make our stay special, including a welcome hamper of quality Orkney produce. The lodge was super clean and finished to a very high standard with great Wi-Fi connection. After a long day sightseeing, nothing better than relaxing in the hot tub overlooking Kirkwall, and watching the sunset.

    The lodge was in a nice countryside location. It was immaculate and the interior was very tasteful. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub taking in the sea view. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone wishing for a base to explore Orkney.

    The lodge was fantastic, excellent setting and super clean. Loved all the little details making it very welcoming and homely. Location was ideal for a quiet escape with great views. Easy to get to historical sites close by. It was perfect for our first visit to Orkney, highly recommend. We would definitely come back for another stay - thank you!

    The property was equipped with everything you could need. The location was very peaceful and the views were lovely. The grounds were well kept and the lodge itself was very spacious. The lodge was decorated so nicely making it a welcoming home. We were lucky to have a hot tub which really added to our experience. The team at Lilly’s lodges were superb. We left something in the lodge and they gave us a phone shortly after we checked out to let us know.

    Great secluded location, had a couple of heavy gates to shift to get there but was the right way as lillies lodges sign was at the bottom. Shower seemed to drain very slowly so we were worried about flooding the bathroom. Otherwise the stay was perfect. Hottub in a hailstorm was a memorable experience for sure. Really loved it.

    The location was excellent, close to the neolithic sites and not too far from Kirkwall, where all groceries could be bought. The lodge was spotlessly clean and cosy and warm. It is a bit small, we were only three, and it takes a bit of getting used to the small area available but in the end everything was available, even the cooking area was more than OK. Nice to have a hot tub, which we used twice, inspite of the bad weather on our second day.

    Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 2 nights and we can say with all certainty we wish we had stayed longer! The Lodge was out of this world and beyond our expectations. We were lucky enough to experience the lodge with exceptionally good weather and the views did not disappoint. Can't wait to return as we will definitely be staying here again!

    Our stay at the lodge was fantastic! The lodge was very clean, the views of Orkney from the lodge was breathtaking and the addition of the hot tub for relaxation was the highlight. To add to our stay it was the Super Moon. The owner was very friendly and helpful too. Looking forward to booking again for next year.
