Great atmosphere. Very peaceful music always playing. Friendly staff. This place is for the independent traveller. Albeit the staff happily booked anything I needed. Great location out of the bustle of the main town area and only 7 minutes scooter ride in.

Perfect place to stay! the hostess really helped us get from Hanoi to Cat Ba. I am very grateful to her. It would be difficult for us to find the route on our own. we went by bus, by boat and again by bus. the hostess offered breakfast and a bike for a reasonable price. The room was cleaned daily and the water was refilled every day. The hostess recommended a wonderful seafood restaurant, which we went to twice (Three M). The hostess was always responsive and helpful with advice.
The walls in the room are good and you can’t hear the neighbors, but outside the door you can sometimes hear noises from the corridor. It didn’t bother me because I had earplugs

The hotel has breakfast, I woke up at 9:30 but the hotel still supported breakfast. Clean, new room, good room facilities. I had 1 dinner at the hotel, it was quite ok and convenient, no need to find a restaurant, the food was fresh and delicious

The rooftop pool is incredible to cool off in the mid day heat. Mr Quan was wonderful and organised drivers to the hospital cave and back to Hanoi for us. Laundry was done the same day and came back fresh, rooms were also cleaned and restocked each day and all the staff are wonderful!
Quiet pacefull area next to hospital cave , Have big swimming pool and garden to hung out. Nice and friendly staff. There are restaurants here as well. Very comfortable.Cute friendly dog .

The staff were really friendly! Perfect place for a short stay, and to meet other travellers. I highly recommend renting out a moped from the hostel (super cheap with an almost full tank!) and gives you a chance to see the beautiful island in your own time and explore the National Park and the hospital cave.
