The hotel was perfectly situated on Grand Ave right on the beach. It was clean, modern and well furnished. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Love the terrace.

Everything was excellent. The property was clean, professionally presented, and amazing views from both sides. We had rooms on two different floors and both sides had exceptional views of the beach.

We were upgraded to nice rooms. They weren't really close but just down the hall. The food was good even though there weren't a lot of options for our dietary needs.

View from our second-story room of Mission Bay and the ocean in the distance. The view of Mission Bay at night was especially nice. Also, the location of the hotel is the best! It's next to the Mission Bay park, the bicycle/running path that encircles Mission Bay, and nearby Ventura Bay for open water swimming. And, the hotel is within walking distance of mission bay and the pacific ocean.

I liked that the pools were heated.

Located in the light industrial Midway area, this hotel is 8 minutes’ walk from Old Town. It offers an outdoor pool and serves a daily grab-and-go breakfast. Each spacious room has free WiFi.

Great location for the Zoo, Old Town, USS Midway. Breakfast was a little limited but adequate. Overall a nice hotel. I would ignore the review of the guy who went out of his way to find homeless tents. We didn't see any of that.
