It's a pleasant enough walk down from Tamsin, but most of the shops are similar to those to be found in most big cities in Europe. The historic tram is a fun ride if you want to skip the walk. Alternatively, take a detour into the Galatasaray "Fish Market" for a more local view, or into the street full of bars to the right at the Tünel end of the street.

Great place for people-watching, with 2 million people a day traipsing up and down it. Be sure and explore some of the side alleys. And if you can get in at a time when the Korean tourists are otherwise busy, try the Kaymak at Ozsut Muhallebicisi down near the Tunel station; more than a little fattening bjut oh so good!

One of the most busy streets in Istanbul, there is shopping, there is food, there is nightlife. Wallets and phones in your front pocket for sure. Shops stay open till ten pm and food till late night. Nightlife was fun there were alot of local pubs.

İstiklal Avenue or Istiklal Street is one of the most famous avenues in Istanbul. You can start your walk at Galata Tower and walk through Istiklal Street to Taksim Square. It's a must do thing in Istanbul. If you are lucky, you can catch the old tram running through this street on your way back. Lot of places to shop, eat etc. One of the best vibrant I have ever been.

It is all brand new hotel. As 5 stars with every tiny details they took care of. Towels, shower gels, hand soups , all like 5 stars hotel.
1 min walking you will be in Taksim square. 30 sec walking you are in Istiklal street.

It was a 5 minute walk going to the famous Istiklal street, bus stations and food streets. Reception and everyone facilitating the hotel are hospitable, very helpful and accommodating. They have showed utmost customer service. Cleaned my room everyday. I can say that it is a safe area for a solo traveler. There are restaurants or cafeteria beside the hotel. Im very satisfied with my overall stay.
The hotel is perfectly located, minutes from Taksim Square, the metro, the Funicula and the famous Istiklal street. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler. The room was super clean, modern and very comfortable. The staff was amazing! Savci, Mohammed and Serhat were extremely helpful, professional, warm and welcoming! I highly recommend this hotel.
The apartment was so clean, comfortable, i feel like home. 5 min walk to istiklal street and metro. Staff were so friendly, mehmet, Marwan and the ladies for room services were so gentle and kind.

Great location right near the center of Istiklal Street. Lots of restaurants and bars just outside the door. Excellent breakfast every morning. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are nice. The hotel/airport shuttle service was also very nice in a clean a spacious van.
The hotel is located in the heart of Taksim , very near to Taksim square (around 5 blocks) , 1 block from Istiklal street, the street is lively and active almost 24/7.
There is a fast food corner just in front of the hotel along with a convenience store which are open 24/7
The hotel staff is super friendly and always available.
Very recommended for tourists as the nightlife nearby is great too.
The location is excellent right next to Istiklal street. The service and staff were excellent specially Mustafa. Neat and clean property with functional rooms having all the amenities. The breakfast also was nice. But light sleepers need to know that it can get quite noisy till late in the night as there are lot of bars and restaurants close to the hotel. But this what you expect if you want to stay close to Istiklal street.
Great location! in the heart of Istiklal Street. Location is perfect for shopping. The architecture and design of the building is superb, a mixture of old and contemporary design. The rooms are uniquely decorated, I loved the high ceilings and attention to details. Hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.
