Actualy the hotel is under finishing reconstruction, so our room 305 with double bad rooms ware total different from the picture on the hotel booking web at end of May 2024 . Room and bathroom fresh new of course some details been not finalized such as TV cable connection, leaders tools boxes on the stairs, but that is normal during works in progress. Car garage space been provided, the staff very helpful. Breakfast is 6 different offers plus drink and coffee - good. To summarize - pleasant surprise.

The park of the fortress is one of the nicest places I have ever been to. The food is excellent and so are traditional restaurants and cafes. The people are very nice and friendly (as they are all over Serbia). Nis is a good place for walking around the city and shopping as well.

Great city for a weekend trip from Sofia. Plenty to see and experience. The food is delicious and cheap. The people are hospitable and kind. There is a beautiful view around the river and the fortress. Try some pleskavica and enjoy yourself!

Great shopping areas, amazing food and everything very affordable. Very helpful and kind people everywhere. We shopped in Delta shopping mall, but we found a lot of local stores in the "underground" as they call it. Massive shopping area under ground, just under the pedestrian zone near Ambassador hotel. Absolutely everything you can imagine, clothes, shoes, dresses, leather jackets, purses, watches, etc.
Not many people speaks English, always have some cash with you.

a good place to stay overnight. the restaurants ( especially in the hotels) are quite good and very reasonable in the pricing. as far as sightseeing is concerned there is nothing special to mention. however if you want to visit the sights in the wider area of Nis it definitely is a good choice to stay there.

I know lots about the town of Nish, but haven't stayed before. The nightlife is just amazing. There are so many places you could go out and enjoy and it is not too expensive, too. We were there for a concert and we loved every minute of it.

We stop in Nis for one night on our way to Greece and back. This year we had really bad luck cause the weather was awful on both days we stopped in Nis. Rainy and extremely cold. We could not take advantage of the city. We always stay in the center which is great to go for a walk downtown or in the fortress. We always eat at Stambolijski restaurant and the food is amazing.
Few minutes taxi drive from the main bus station. The apartment is huge (2 bedrooms), and very clean, with everything needed for a short or even longer stay in Nis. Complete kitchen with all appliances for cooking, 3 LCD TV with free Wi-fi, and hundreds of channels. A warm place with a great balcony and with an excellent view. Close to the city center. Highly recommended to singles, couples, or couples with kids, for a few days or a longer stay. Probably much better and certainly much cheaper than booking a hotel.
The place is big, comfy and clean. You have everything you need when it comes to hygiene( liquid soap in the kitchen, in the bathroom, shampoo, shower gel...). You have many kitchen appliances, so you can cook many things. The place is located in the epicenter of Niš, so everything is close. Also, the apartment is not facing the actual center and promenade, so it makes it extra quiet. The communication with the owner is perfect. He sends detailed self check-in information. Worth the money!
The room was excellent with a mini bar, a comfortable wall to wall carpet, a cooling airco, a large balcony to relax with a drink and a comfortable bed to snooze. The reception staff is exceptional, hospitable, kind and very helpful. This was an especially welcomed experience since in the last few days we had a really bad stay during our crossing from Nis. Thank you guys at Zen Hotel. We are definitely coming back on our next crossing from Serbia!

Breakfast is 5 euros per person. There are a couple of predefined breakfast options you can choose from (eg. omlette, fried eggs, toast, cereal, etc.). Also coffee or tea is included in the breakfast price. We were satisfied with our choice.

One of the good options for stay in the center of Nis. The apartment is clean. It has all the needed amenities. The location is great: a few blocks away from the very center but in a quiet neighborhood in the same time. Parking spot is at disposal, which is great, given the busy central area and limited parking. The hosts are nice and helpful.
The location was super central and within walking distance to most of the main attractions, with plenty of cute cafes and great restaurants very closeby. The hotel staff were super friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay. Would definitely stay here again should I be revisiting this city :)

Good buget option în Nis with easy accesy to the center. The hotel has a restaurant downstairs that is ok for a drink or something sweet (did not have lunch there). We also had parking.
Extraordinary small French like hotel situated high above Nis, with a pool and a spectacular view over the entire city, especially from room 4A. Car definitly required to get there.
Hotel 'Consul' is a little hotel and is situated in a little street near the very city center of Niš. The personnel is very kind. Buffet-type breakfast is not very abundant.
