One of the most beautiful boutique hotels I’ve experienced in Romania. Tastefully furnished in a typical Saxon (Siebenbürgen) farmhouse, with antique furniture, Romanian folk art, a peaceful garden, and delicious food. The landscape around Viscri reminds me of Cornwall – no wonder Prince Charles fell in love with the area. He owns a residence and has also funded a museum in the village.

Beautiful castle, well taken care of and an amazing outside area with activities for all, including children of all ages. The round swing was a big attraction for all. The breakfast offers a limited variety compared to similar accommodations, but everything is fresh and local / homemade, which makes it all worth it. The staff is kind and helpful. The spa is very private, never crowded, and the massage is a very nice addition.

Wonderfull location and view with extremly well trained staff, friendly, respectful , attentive, never heard them say they can’t do something and tried their best to accomodate our every need which is a rarity in the region and i would argue romania as a whole and i have visited quite a few 5 star resorts. The food at the restaurant is amazing as well the brisket is michelin star quality.
