We stayed in June when the weather was cold. The accommodation was warm and cosy. We enjoyed a lovely view overlooking the lake. Very reasonable rates and friendly staff.

This was the perfect location for exploration in 3 directions, up to Milford Sound for a day trip, down to Doubtful sound day trip and across to Te Anau glow worm caves, all of which were worthwhile doing. The hotel was centrally located. Everything went smoothly. Clean room with two queen beds, perfect for us.
