Upali’s places lives up to a true 10/10 rating! The room was incredibly comfortable and clean with attention to detail and everything we needed. He offered extremely friendly service for anything we needed and transport around town. We also did a big day trip in his tuk tuk to Lipton’s Seat, waterfalls and more.
Breakfast was an absolute highlight with delicious fresh cooked food from his wife and mother including a selection of fresh fruits, pol roti, pol sambal, pancakes and more. We loved sitting outside with the amazing view. Can’t wait to visit the next time we are back in SL!

The breakfast was delicious and very filling. The location was super for seeing the Nine Arch Bridge (we walked there from the accommodation) and for strolling into the center of Ella. The staff were all lovely and very welcoming. Thank you to Obey for assisting us with train tickets to Kandy and for dropping us off at the station - it made our lives easier and was very much appreciated.

The owner has been kind to pick us up with the tuk tuk from the city center because the road is quite difficult for an usual car.
The view of the waterfall is present in the far background, but it's enjoyable to watch during breakfast.

The view from our room was amazing, you can see the railway and Ella rock, breakfast was the best with the view and the owner David a really nice guy ! second day they prepared for us Hoppers :) that was really nice. Also I lost my earring and as soon as they found it they send me a message to inform me. I highly recommend this place :)
The hotel is really well located, just out of town and with a beautiful view of the valley and Ravana Falls. Our room was spacious and clean, although a little basic. Breakfast was great! The staff were super friendly and even provided a tuk tuk to Little Adam’s Peak for our sunrise hike. We had a great stay.

The room was a great size, and had a particularly comfortable sofa, which is a rarity, but so appreciated in a hotel room- good to have a comfortable place to sit.
The view is good - of Ella Rock, but with a little extra tree pruning, it could be a phenomenal view through Ella gap and including little Adam’s peak

The One Ella is only two boutique apartments situated near Little Adam’s Peak, well away from busy downtown Ella. View to Ella Rock - perfect for chilling in the patio hammock. Lovely friendly staff. Breakfast served on your patio. Bed, bathroom, room - all good. Within walking distance of Little Adam’s Peak, the Nine Arch Bridge and only a short tuk tuk ride to downtown Ella though there area number of restaurants very nearby.

- Great location to hike up little Adam’s peak (I also saw signage to access 9 arch bridge from here too but I personally didn’t do it from this hotel).
- Staff were very personable and well mannered.
- The WhatsApp functionality in terms of contacting / liaising with reception was very helpful and they were quick to respond. Lots of Information was sent about the property on check in.
Ideally located. Away from the main town, but close enough to walk. Short walk to 9 Arch Bridge and Little Adam’s Peak start points. Close to restaurants. Room was large, clean and well-equipped with ample electricity sockets and adequate WiFi. Breakfast is plentiful with slight changes each day and served at a time of your choosing. The host (Themira) has a training in hotel management and this shows through with his polite manner and ability to provide advice & guidance when asked. Excellent value for money.
The stay at Heavens Seven was perfect. It’s located very well, the hosts are very kind and helpful and you have the most beautiful view out of your bed (Ella Rock & Little Adam‘s Peak). I totally recommend this hotel!!
Really lovely little hostel, it was really clean with friendly hosts, the breakfast was great and perfect location for visiting little Adam’s peak and 9 arch bridge, a steal for the price would definitely recommend!
The hotel is just a short walk from the centre of Ella and has lovely views of the hills. The staff are incredibly friendly and happy to help. The hotel isn’t far from nine arch bridge or Little Adam’s Peak etc and the hotel can book tuk tuks for you. Our room was huge and had everything we needed
