The location was perfect, really next to the Shoppin Mall.
Also the Hotel has a SPA and swimming pool which is open until late. That was so nice.

We booked into the Ritz Carlton because it's supposed to be the best property in Almaty but we were surprised to see that it is literally a few floors in a building. Coming from India, we are used to sprawling properties for 5 star hotels and this one didn't look the part. However, the staff was extremely courteous and nice and so was the breakfast. They had a lot of options for vegetarians and vegans. Our room had a gorgeous mountain view. We loved it!
