The food (dinner, breakfast) was a delicious Japanese-Western fusion cuisine with many delightful courses. The restaurant staff were extraordinarily well trained.

Excellent staff. Excellent food. Excellent location. We loved our stay at Nanaeyae. The staff was incredibly attentive and professional. They made our stay really special. And even more so as it was my birthday and they had prepared a bday message for me. We are very grateful for the presents too.
This is the best place to experience the traditional Japan.
The food is delicious and prepared with care; we loved the variety and the opportunity to try different things; the hot spring was the best ending to our day. The rooms are nicely decorated and have gorgeous views (at least ours had!). But the service is what makes this place so special.

the onsen, the bathroom, then cleanless of the facility, staff was answering very promptly when i had questions. Washing machine is convenient. Didn't use the barbecue but if i would have stay longer, that's nice to have too

We loved this place, our host was really nice and helpful. He cleaned our room everyday, which he didn't need to.
It's very charming, all a bit old school. like going back to 70's Japan (which we loved).
The location is very good, quiet, waking distance to train station and restaurants.

Location was just amazing and its just 7min walk from Tobu World Square station. If you are staying here forget about going to World heritage area for the shrines instead do the Ryuokyo gorge and there is a waterfall 10mins away from the hostel. Kitchen has got every utensil you can imagine so you can cook anything.
