My room was large and comfortable. I slept extremely well on the futon and had delicious breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The hotel is located near the Sainogawara park towards one end of the town so it is very convenient to visit the park and public onsen there. The hotel’s own onsen was great too with an indoor and outdoor pool
The facilities - onsen and library. The little resting area outside the onsen was also nice. Complimentary drinks and snacks. The library had a good selection of novels and mangas and pods for reading. The onsen was good - indoor and outdoor. Good ventilation in the indoor onsen as I often get lightheaded in other onsens due to bad ventilation. The outdoor onsen was cool. The dormitory was more spacious than expected.
Beautiful onsen with indoor/outdoor seperate male/female facilities, a lounge that makes you feel like you’re in the trees, kitchen and laundry facilities. We had a double and a family Japanese style room all were clean and functional. Some confusion initially about my 4 year old who was only free if she shared a bed. There is a supermarket lion dior a 600m walk, that has a good range of groceries
The room looks old but clean and quite spacious. The place was on top of the hill, walking there is a little tiring but they have a bus to take you to the main tourist spot and back (this also means the place have a great view). There are indoor and outdoor onsen as well as a sauna. The yukata are cute. Breakfast is a buffet with good food.
The service is top notch! The front desk staff speaks english well and helped us book boat ride as well. They have both indoor and outdoor swimming pool, which is a nice surprise. The outdoor pool view is amazing! The buffet has bottomless alcohol drink with good varieties, which a big plus.
I'm surprised that this hotel doesn't have a higher rating. Everything was excellent. It is a 5 minute walk from the station with picturesque views of the river. The room was very spacious and comfortable with nice toiletries provided. The buffet dinner is great, so much to choose from and very high quality. Facilities are amazing - plenty of indoor and outdoor onsens, two infinity pools overlooking the river plus a host of other facilities I didn't have time to use. Would love to stay here again.
The rotemburo (outdoor baths) are absolutely fantastic! You walk from one pool to the other trough this magic forest. There are also indoor baths but the big thing here is to enjoy the nature (and in this time of the year the momiji) from the hot waters carved in the rock. The ryokan itself it’s a beautiful wooden castle-like building, quite huge and comfortable. The semi-kaiseki meals are also great. Highly recommended!
They have a lot of free activities like ping pong swimming pool karaoke and eat all you can at breakfast. But in order to enjoy these activities you need to make a reservation in advance. They also have yukata which you can borrow for free My son also loved the manga corner. The Location was also nice It's near tobu world square and the bridge which is awesome.
The room was very big, Onsen is amazing and they had indoor and outdoor Onsen, plus sauna with a cold water mini pool. Staff was very friendly and my husband loved breakfast.
The onsen is very nice!! very big and very calm, the water quality is exceptional . you can also enjoy an outdoor bath the room is big with 2 beds, it's very calm and quiet, low prize compare to the hotel room, you've got a nice swimming pool in the entrance of the hotel with a Jacuzzi!! nothing else to say expect the ratio prize quality is excellent
