As a new hotel, Ritz Carlton Fukuoka is beautifully designed and served as a perfect stay for our anniversary celebration. The room is spacious, comfortable and very practical in terms of layout. We got one facing Hakata Bay and it was especially a great view at sunset and in the evening. Their breakfast selection was delicious and of high quality. We also went to their bar and Japanese restaurant, both phenomenal. Service was lovely, all the staff greet you with a smile. We would stay here again!

One of my absolute favorite parka in Japan.
One of my absolute favorite parka in Japan. It's so scenic and peaceful. There's always something happening there. My friends and I were walking along the pond and suddenly we ran into a film crew who were filming a drama there! The wildlife is beautiful and the park is a peaceful haven away from the busy city life.

This place exceeded our expectations. It was not only super comfortable (with a cool interior) it is in the most perfect location for Hakata Station, Canal City Centre and easy walking distance of the temples and shrines (easy bus to Ohori Park and train to giant Buddha). Also its slightly tucked away so you find yourself in cute little cafes, local restaurants and chic bars you'd never have found! Staff also went beyond expectations to book restaurants. Just perfect
The hotel is in a very cool location, I loved the shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms are lovely, very clean and well decorated and the breakfast was delicious. It s easy to walk to other tourist spots and is a 20 min walk to Ohori park. Loved it.
Very clean and new. Lots of baby/child friendly touches like baby seats, child cutlery, bouncer and bathtub. Close to Ohori Park which is great for kids.

Good place to stay. Friendly staff. Very comfi bed (I stayed in the delux dormitory aka no bunkbeds). Really nice lounge/kitchen area. Right across from Ohori park (with castle ruins an Japanese garden). I walked almost everywhere, but I am a walker ;-) But there is a subway station in less than 1 minute from the front door.
The location is good if you're interested in Canal City or nearby nightlife. Train stations are close and convenient. The reclining Buddha and Ohori Park were just wonderful. Fukuoka is a beautiful city, and the ramen is top-notch!
Great location, the 12th floor east side rooms have a view of the Fukuoka airport. There is a subway entrance right next to the hotel building that you can take to get to the Hakata station in about 2 minutes, and to the Ohori Park area in about 13 minutes.
The location is very good, 5 min to the subway, walking distance to Nishijin, Ohori park and the seaside. The price was reasonable at the time when I booked. The breakfast is very simple, obento, which is probably not great, but it was very tasty, and there is a coffee machine in the lounge. Very friendly staff.
The place was modern, clean and industrial style, we took the largest penthouse, which by Japan standards, was a huge room, with a large decking. Bathroom was amazing, bed was super comfy, kitchen area was useful, and living space ample. Staff used google translate and helped us book very good restaurants nearby and were very responsive and friendly.
Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, and convenience and drugs stores. Canal City and Tenjin easy to walk to, and we even ran to Ohori Park and walked to Hakata. Very good neighbourhood.
