The apartment-building is directly next to the Odawara Castle Grounds and looks very new; it is about 7 minutes on foot from Odawara station. There are restaurants and conbinis in the area. The apartment ist very spacious (we were three adults). I especially liked the bathroom: You can have the bathtub fill up automatically, and there is a function to heat up and ventilate the bathroom to dry clothes over night. This is very usefull if you have clothes you either cannot dry in the washing-/dryer-combo that is available, or if you get drenched in the rain as we did. Staff was very friendly and did not mind us storing our suitcases for a couple of hours after our check-out while we went to visit the castle.

The whole experience was excellent. Thank goodness for the shuttle from Odawara Station. The views were unbelievable.

Check in was very smooth and the room was brilliant. lots of space, comfortable beds, private onsen was wonderful!! The dinner in the bedroom was exceptional (8 courses!) and the breakfast too. The lady who was looking after us was so friendly and helpful. highly recommend the hotel for a wonderful experience.
Very nice Onsen in Hakone. We choose the capsule option, which was comfortable, clean and quiet. Friendly staff. The Onsen itself has an indoor and outdoor part, the latter is really nice to sit in the hot water and relax. The Hakone open air museum is 30 minutes walk and worth a visit. In the town you find some shops and of course a 7-11. The bus runs frequently to Odawara station, where the Shinkhasen Tokyo – Kyoto/Osaka runs.
The onsen was incredible but there are no towels so remember to bring one from your room. The bus station is right outside the hotel! Easy to take the bus from Odawara station(bullet train and Japan rail) and also down to the lake to access the pirate ship and ropeways.
I loved the dinner and breakfast menus. Each time it was different, and I loved each set.
It was a bit hard to get to, but at the same time that's also made it great as you can easily relax, away from touristy spots. The bus stop is almost in front of the hotel, so it's not bad, but it will take about an hour to get from Odawara Station to the hotel by bus.
It's close to Lake Ashi (one bus ride away), so if you need to go sightseeing (Hakone Cruise), it's not to far.
Staff were friendly and very helpful with queries and luggages cos our non-traditional room is located at old wing level 4 without lift/escalator. Love both the outdoor and indoor onsens though they aren't huge, they are well-equipped and clean. Location is within 10mins walking distance from the bus stop located at main road cos we took a bus from Odawara station after train ride.
Hotel locates next to the pier of pirate boats and bus stops to Shinjuku and Odawara Station.
Nice environment throughout. Our room for 3 pax is big enough with private onsen in balcony .
Hotel serves buffet dinner and breakfast with great variety of food .
Value for money .
Great rooms with a nice bath on the balcony, loved the view out to the river. There is a convenience store and plenty of restaurants nearby, also there's a nice path next to the river where they got cherry blossoms and those are also illuminated at night. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel also included shuttles to Gora station and Odawara station.
