The staff were very friendly and helpful. For example when we were just having a well-deserved beer after a long hike, we were offered special little cakes made "in house" - for free!
The location is good, a little way out of the main town which can be very busy.
The car parking is good.
We were able to borrow an umbrella for a walk to town - a welcome service!

We loved everything about our stay at Relais Orange. It's such a great location for the town centre, but also an oasis of peace and quiet just outside of it. The rooms were immaculate and we loved the clean, cosy, modern styling. Such comfy beds and pillows especially with wonderful views from the room and a welcome little balcony and coffee/snack station. It felt like a lot of love has gone into the design in a part of the country where traditional style still pervades. The breakfasts were locally sourced and plentiful and served in the sunshine was the best start to the day. We stayed with our little dog and the owners were so welcoming, and also provide a fenced dog play area which was vital for us as it can be hard to let our little companion off the lead with so much wildlife to chase in the area! That was a thoughtful highlight that I wish more places would provide. Most places charge a dog supplement but make no special effort. Finally, we absolutely loved the owners who took so much care and provided all sorts of information for our stay - maps, books, advice. By the end we felt welcomed like family. Totally perfect! Will be back!

Excellent stay, staff extremely helpful and kind, even with my non existent Italian! Lovely location within walking distance of a small town, where I was able to purchase a few items I was unable to pack, including a headtorch! Staff went above and beyond to provide small extras such as offering eggs for breakfast. Highly recommend and will return.

Perfect location, 5 mins away from centre of Pescasseroli and the start of many hiking routes in the area. Breakfast was traditional and fresh every day, Gianluca and team were super lovely. They were kind, helpful and endlessly considerate, perfect hosts. I felt very safe as a young solo female traveller, and although my Italian isn't great Gianluca always made sure I was okay.
Excellent location to explore the National Park and at walking distance to Pescasseroli downtown.
It was great having breakfast outside with the magnificent views of the mountains.
Inside, the fireplace makes the stay very cosy.
