This is our 4th year in Roccaraso. This hotel is in the perfect location with parking. Hotel is basic, but very clean and comfortable with the best bar in the village attached to it. Lots of good restaurants within short walking or easy driving distance. The ski slopes are a short 10 minute drive away.

It had everything we needed for a great stay. The rooms are basic but we didn't need anything more. The rooms were warm and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were all lovely and the service at dinner was great too. Plenty of food and other options off the menu for fussy children. They were very accommodating. The hotel was a 10 minute drive to the slopes so perfect for us. If you want to be nearer the town and therefore have more to do in the evenings then you should book a much more expensive hotel. For us this was perfect and great value for money. We are there to ski, eat, sleep and feel welcomed and we had this in abundance! Thank you 😊

I went to Ski in Roccaraso and forgot my phone charger. The owner of the establishment gave me his own charger, and his mother gave me a homemade belgian waffle she had just made.
The room was spacious and looked like a large hotel room.

The hotel staff was really professional and friendly including the exceptional service in the restaurant. I have never experienced this kind of weater and chef in Italy who was paying attention on our well-being all time and delivered everything without requesting any extras but delivering everything automatically. The meals were amazing. The room was very clean with brand new and comfortable furnitures.
What an amazing boutique hotel! The rooms, public areas and grounds are incredibly charming. This is a family run hotel and they were welcoming and super helpful in making arrangements for our day in Roccaraso and dinner at the hotel restaurant that night. The breakfast buffet in the morning was gorgeous and delicious and I can't wait to return.
The hotel is close reach to Monte Pratello where we did ski lessons for the kids in the morning and kindergarden on the slopes in the afternoon. Friendly stuff with children and adult entertainment, lots of good Italian food and spacious room, warm and accomodating. Also outdoor playing area. Will visit again, would highly recommend.

The Albergo Del Sole was so empty due to the weather that Angelo and Illiana, the proprietors, moved me to a sister full service hotel in Sulmona called Holiday. They were accommodating and gracious. Offered free wine and a meal for my troubles.
Great location in the centre of Roccaraso - all restaurants and bars within a couple of minutes walking distance. Comfortable beds. We had the studio room with TV and small kitchenette and dining table - very cosy after a day's snowboarding.
This is a delightful authentic hotel. The staff were charming. The food was exceptional. We had half board which was delicious but the ala cart menu looked amazing too.
Great location - near to the Macchione ski lift. The host, Alessandro was really helpful. He arranged everything with the hotel staff to ensure a great stay.
