Rialto Bridge
Greek glories. This ridge outside Agrigento is an archaeological treasure trove, and one of the world’s best-preserved collections of Ancient Greek architecture. Within one area, you can wander between the stunning Temple of Concordia, built in the 5th century BC, the visibly ancient Temple of Vulcan and the Temple of Olympian Zeus, sacked by the Carthaginians in 406 BC.

We always go to Venice off season but even so people tend to congregate around the Rialto....there is so much more to Venice than this tourist draw. Never stay in the area, don't eat in the area and hit all the back streets to discover the magic of this city.

Always crowded, so we just stood to the side and watched. Watched the boats, the people, the hussle and bussle. We were in awe over so many things. Saw a gal dressed like a young version of Cruella De Vil last time and her look was amazing!

It is a charming place, too many people everytime but it is nice to be there, experience the place and enjoy the view. It is also a must to go on the Vaporetto and see the bridge from the Grand canal.

It was very crowded in the off season.
It was very crowded in the off season. I can't even imagine the crowds in the high season. The main canal under the Rialto Bridge is the highway with all goods and services moving through. It isn't the serene paintings that you typically see. Rather it is highly skilled captains and gondoliers that are narrowly passing one another.

No accessible way for handicap people to cross the bridge to get to the other side. Only 4 bridges in the entire place are accessible. I had a very difficult time getting across with my walker. Imagine a person in a wheelchair bound that cannot walk. Also the streets are little blocks that are dangerous when you walk. That's the way things roll in Venice by boat and by walking.

Stay away during crowded hours, and keep an eye out for pickpockets. But be sure to see it, but go early in the morning or in the evening -- it's a centrally important feature to the history and culture of this great city.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, 5 mins from Rialto Bridge but tucked away down a side street so very quiet. The foyer is gorgeous and welcoming, the rooms are beautifully appointed, the bed was very comfortable, and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. We would absolutely stay again and are looking forward to returning already!
Very large apartment with plenty of space to sit and relax. Exceptional views of the canal and Rialto bridge. Met by Mattia at the water taxi and helped us to the room. Well appointed kitchen.
Excellent position in the centre of Venice, very close to Rialto Bridge. Many restaurants, bakery shops, coffee shops, supermarkets in very close distance from the apartment.
We always love to stay for a few nights in Venice rather that to come for a day from mainland.
Excellent location 2 minutes from Rialto bridge and 10 minutes from San Marco, in a cute plaza. Very authentic experience! Nice and friendly staff, comfortable room with all the amenities, great value for money for those who don't want to break the bank staying in Venice. And the breakfast for 5 euros can't be beat. Highly recommend this small hotel :-)
This is a gem in Venice. Almost hidden down a short alley, the green door opens up to a delightful apartment. Spacious and very well appointed. We were greeted at the property by our host's representative who explained everything and answered any questions for our 3 night stay. This apartment is in a great location with easy walking access to San Marco Piazza and also Rialto Bridge. Great value for money and a really amazing place to stay in Venice.
- Excellent location, very close to waterbus stop and also Rialto Bridge (10 min walk) and St.Mark Square (15 min walk)
- Small but cozy, with everything one might need. Your little apartment in Venice
- Air conditioning and heaters kept the apartment warm despite the low temperatures
- Washing machine and dryer are present if one needs to wash the laundry
Everything was perfect and as described in the offer. Exceptional hospitality from the hotel host. Sumptuous breakfasts and delicious cappuccino coffee. Venetian room decoration. Bathroom equipment. Perfect location very close to St. Square. Mark's Square, the Rialto Bridge and the waterbuses that allowed you to explore the islands around Venice. The neighborhood of the "Osteria Da Bubi" restaurant - good Venetian cuisine. I recommend this unique place in the labyrinth of works of art in mysterious Venice...
Fantastic location, on a lovely walk way close to the Rialto bridge and San Marco. Apartment was secure, well furnished and comfortable - a great base to explore Venice.
Very nice apartment just 5 min walk to Rialto bridge. Fantasic location, has all amenities we needed for a 2 nights-stand in Venice.

Avoid the rialto bridge area, full of tourists and troughs with eager salesman trying to sell you pizza. Don't be afraid to explore the back streets, it is cooler and quieter, and you'll find some great sights.

It's just so beautiful. Everywhere you turn, so romantic.
It's just so beautiful. Everywhere you turn, so romantic. Walks over the little bridges, standing on the Rialto Bridge looking across the Grand Canal. Seeing and finally sailing in a gondola, which I have always dreamed of. Just simply beautiful.
