If you are travelling in Spring, pick a day that is NOT...
If you are travelling in Spring, pick a day that is NOT cloudy! The mountain is covered with mist and we had to wait 20-30 minutes and we got lucky with the Sun. You cannot see the Crater otherwise. Also, you need to trek 20 minutes up the sand road. Wear comfortable sneakers and pack a jacket as it is cold up there.

A wonderful view of the whole of Naples and Vesuvius from the terrace!!! the railway station is a 5-minute walk from the property, you can get to any coast by train. Special thanks to Sue for always being in touch!

Stunning rooftop terrace with views of Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. Stefano gave us great restaurant recommendations (and you’ll be checking Katie Parla’s site too). Ripley fans, look out for the rickety old lift up to the 4th floor. Instead of a cat you’ll be greeted by the cute dog next door when you schlep up to the 5th Floor. The Nonna downstairs was so friendly.

The trip up Vesuvius is great and starts just a 20min walk from the hotel.
In an industrial area but there was no issue with that even at night.
We absolutely loved staying at Magma. Roberto was so kind and welcoming, he gave us an excellent guide and advice about the city which took all the stress away from planning our days. The apartment itself is in a beautiful old Neapolitan building which made the trip so special. The view from the rooftop terrace is unbeatable, panoramic with clear views of Vesuvius. The photos don't do it justice. Such a special trip!
Beautiful apartment close to the old city centre. The rooftop has an uninterrupted view over the gulf of Naples, Vesuvius and Castel Sant Elmo. The apartment is very large and well furnished, with all necessary amenities.
Comfortable rooms on the top floor of an apartment block on the edge of the historic centre of Naples, with great views of the sea and Mount Vesuvius. Close to Napoli Centrale and Porta Nolana railway stations, so very convenient for trips to Pompeii and Sorrento. The staff are very friendly, helpful and informative.

The room with a view of Vesuvius is the highlight of the hotel. Jerome is very friendly and took care of our comfort as much as possible. He recommended places to visit. And made a pleasant surprise in honor of the wedding anniversary, which we celebrated in Naples.
The room was cleaned every day. The bed is comfortable, the air conditioner works well, there is always hot water in the shower. In general, the comfort was at the highest level, even more than we expected.
