The location was stunning with views of the mountains and right by the clear blue sea. The facilities were lovely and clean, no sand anywhere as have direct access to the sea with no beach. There were plenty of sunbeds to choose from and there was also a first aid room as connected to the club. Food and ice-cream available during the day. Tennis and kayaking were a bonus for our group as we weren't sure if operating when we first arrived at the beginning of season. Would also recommend renting a boat from the pier beside the hotel, was a brilliant way to see more of the coast.

The house is so beautiful, the garden is spectacular and the view from the living room onto the garden so peaceful. Even if we stayed only 1 night, we were able to enjoy this lovely property. The owners are very nice and ready to help as needed.

Mondello is stuck somewhere at the end of the 80's and is the last place to visit with family and kids. There is nothing to see or to do. The beach is anything but clean. Houses and streets are degraded and no one seems to care. Streets are dirty, piles of trash are everywhere.
Altough there are restaurants, the service and the offer is far behind of anything you get in other places in Italy. I would not visit Mondello again, but if one does want to go, I would advise to spend no more than one afternoon. This was my first time to Mondello.
This was my first time to Mondello. Overall, it was better than expected. My family was looking for a simple beach trip, and Mondello served this purpose very well. There were plenty of restaurants for us to enjoy in the area. There were private beach access areas where you can rent some beach chairs and an umbrella, plus plenty of public beach areas to access as well. If you needed to go into Palermo, you can catch a few different bus routes. We used the 806 bus route to get into more of the heart of Palermo in our case.

Mondello has a lot to offer anyone, from singles, young and old, families and retirees. We went in early May, so the weather was a bit on the cool side, but there was still plenty of people on the beach. The crowd size at that time of year was manageable. There are plenty of places to eat and we enjoyed good food. It is a very walkable area. It is not a far drive from Palermo City Center (average 30 -40 minutes depending on traffic).

We tried trattoria "L'angolo di Mondello Trattoria da Franco" on Piazza Mondello and "Alle Terrazze". The first one (Franco) is a family-driven local, traditional place, the second one is a first-class restaurant with a very high standard, with excellent panorama view.

Beautiful scenery, close to Palermo, sandy beaches and few local restaurants. We were out of season so I am sure it's more buzzing during the summer. There was a great restaurant with fresh sea food just across the Art Hotel.
A short walk to the beach and all of the attractions that Mondello has to offer. Easy to hop onto the 806 bus nearby to get into Palermo within 15-20 minutes. A few good restaurant/cafe options within a 5-15 minute walk from the apartment. A UniCredit Bancomat (ATM) is less than a 10 minute walk away to the East. There are a couple EuroNet ATM machines near Piazza Mondello but I try to avoid those whenever possible. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals to cook. Free parking for a car in front of the apartment or very close by.
Everything is even better than in the photos. You have a closed front garden full or plants, roses, flowers, and different places to sit by yourself or with your family. It’s awesome for breakfast! Bedrooms are spacious and all the beds super comfortable. Francesco made a warming welcome for us, and also left coffee and different pastries/bread for breakfast. Beach is near and also a few restaurants. I think it would be difficult to top the experience we had here on Mondello!! Super recommended
Quiet location a short walk from the beach. Perfectly kept boutique property with a really homely and relaxed feel - yet still very stylish. Great size room with stunning ocean view. Excellent pool area to relax and enjoy the views. Good breakfast. Best of all were the amazingly helpful and friendly team who arranged us great restaurants every night including pickup and drop offs to/from the hotel. If you are going to Mondello, there is no better place to stay!

If you want to book a room outside Palermo and close to the beautiful Mondello Beach. This hotel is great. 5-10 min walk to it. The garden was beautiful. My family of 5 stayed at 3 places on Sicily (Taormina, Mondello, and Cefalu) and this place was absolutley the best! Don’t hesitate! :D
Angela and Gabriela were very helpful, they spent a lot of time to give us all the information we need to enjoy Palermo and Mondello. Very clean, comfortable, modern hotel and also they serve very high quality food, especially breakfast and 3/4 course set meal dinner, amuse-bouches were remarkable. Everybody was so patient and helpful about our demands, we had nice chats and felt at home. I highly recommend this hotel to my friends.
The location is exceptionally placed near Mondello Beach, in front of Mount Pellegrino, just outside of the crowded traffic in Palermo. So you can enjoy a quiet environment, no hassle parking, and only few minutes drive to the city. The staff is extremely professional and welcoming, the villa offers large spaces, a very nice garden, facilities where you can work, relax, cook yourself should you wish to

Noemi, Pierre (pardon me if I misspelled the name), and the rest of the staff are very friendly, responsive, and overall incredible in their efforts to accommodate their guests. Will go back for sure! Oh yeah, you must try Pierre's and Noemi's home-prepped dinners! Their arancini are the best in Sicily!!
Lovely place to stay in Mondello. The house is located just a few minutes of walking distance from the beach. There are also many restaurants and shops within a short walk from the house. It has a lovely vintage interior and a beautiful garden filled with many plants and trees. The hosts were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was tasty! We have enjoyed our stay here!
A lovely villa by the sea. It felt like old time opulence. The access to common indoor and outdoor facilities made it homely. A short stroll from the centre of Mondello and easy beach access. The parking onsite made life easy!
