They are simply fantastic these guys! Very friendly stuff, they even have made a surprise for the birthday of my father (it was so sweet of you, guys, really) and the Sea Is exceptional! I've traveled after to Catania, Siracusa, Palermo and Taormina and never have found the sea like this!

We tried trattoria "L'angolo di Mondello Trattoria da Franco" on Piazza Mondello and "Alle Terrazze". The first one (Franco) is a family-driven local, traditional place, the second one is a first-class restaurant with a very high standard, with excellent panorama view.

Very friendly and hospitable host - Roberta. Fab breakfast, home baked cakes every morning with a huge choice of goodies incl eggs anyway you like i.e. poached, scrambled, omelet's etc. Quiet location but within a very short walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the centre ...
The room was lovely, very clean and spacious with a great balcony, the air-con was wonderful too ...

Beautiful scenery, close to Palermo, sandy beaches and few local restaurants. We were out of season so I am sure it's more buzzing during the summer. There was a great restaurant with fresh sea food just across the Art Hotel.

Mondello has all the capabilty to be a first-rate tourist destination: the sandy beach, the transparent clear water, the landscape, the old villas. I just can't understand why they can't keep the streets clean to match the natural environment. The rubbish almost ruins everything.

Mondello is a lovely little town with some good restaurants...
Mondello is a lovely little town with some good restaurants and a beautiful beach! It is only a 30 min bus ride away from Palermo and the busses are cheap and easy to navigate. It is not a party town, but was perfect for us as the beach was a 5 minute walk away as were many nice cafes and restaurants. We walked out to Capo Gallo, which was really beautiful and great to be able to jump into the ocean for a quick cooling down.

Palermo and the surroundings are dirty - you have to get used to it. However staying in Mondello is much better than staying in Palermo center. Mondello beach is sandy and nice, the beach is clean.
There are lots of restaurants and you can find all services you need in the nearby (supermarket, laundry...etc.)
There is a bus going to Palermo center (nr 806).
From the beginning our trip was excellent! The host, Francesco, contacted us a day before to arrange our arrival. He met us at the villa when we arrived, helped us park the car and showed us around. Our villa has a beautiful private outside terrace and a washing machine. It was clean and cozy inside. We had everything we needed for a two days stay. Francesco even brought us beach towels and we had a beach bag at the villa. The AC was great in all rooms as well.
Wonderful experience! We will definitely come back next summer.

Marina treated us with so many tasty things including her famous Carciofi, that now we have to come back with presents from our homes.

Clean, cozy, had both laundry machine and espresso maker as well as full kitchen. Good location 15 min walk from main beaches and lungomare. The host was extremely helpful and appeared just in time as we arrived 3 hours late and were unable to warn him due to cell service outage. He also gave us a ride into Palermo (over 30 minute drive!) on our leaving day which was incredibly kind and helpful. Can’t recommend this place enough, would rate 20/10, and thank you so much to the host!
I fell in love with this beautiful house located in mondello, it has everything you are looking for and only a few steps away from all the amenities and mondello beach but also the host Giovanna is exceptional. She even drove me to Palermo.

B&B casa chinaski is located in a calm street,surrounded by trees and flower bushes that provide shadow. the house is beautifully decorated, everything is made with love and passion, especially the home made breakfast is soo delicious! Mondello beach is accessible by foot and also the busses for Palermo centro. We didnt need to use the car. The rooms are very big and spacious and super clean. Beds are very big and super comfortable.
Excellent host! We didn’t have to wait, everything has been agreed in advance, our arrival was very smooth. The flat is very nice, great location, 7min walk to the Mondello beach. We could park our car around, no problem.
The flat had everything necessary, even coffee capsules provided by the host, 2 water bottles, shower necessities, etc, very nice!

Everything was perfect. Al of the staff were professional, helpful, and friendly. The room was very comfortable, quiet and clean. The ocean view from our room was gorgeous! Beautiful sunrises every day...Our stay was in December and the hotel was nicely decorated for Christmas. The parking was secure. Breakfast was good.
I had a great stay at Il Girasole - will definitely be my first choice for accomodation next time I'm in Mondello! The staff was incredibly nice, very proactive in making my stay as pleasant as possible, even going as far as washing my clothes and giving me an umbrella for the beach. Thanks so much!
This was such a fun place to stay. Easy walk into town and to the beach. Manuela was very helpful and of course, made some amazing breakfasts! Our room was very clean and had lots of space. There is also safe, free street parking right outside. The neighborhood is also very quiet and safe.
We totally loved our stay here! A spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms and a living room to eat and work. 5 min relaxed walk to the beach, even less to the nearest store. Well equipped kitchen. The view from the balcony is lovely. We will definitely come back.
