I have been staying for 3 weeks already in Bindu's homestay, feeling fully at home and cozy.
Bindu is very kind and welcoming and I am really enjoying sharing some time with her and her friends or relatives when they come by. For anything I have needed around the city, I reached out to her son who was always very reactive and helpful.
The room is comfortable, the house is clean and surrounded by plants and flowers. The neighborhood is residential and very calm, ideal for resting and walking around (lots of beautiful houses, small streets without traffic). About 20min away from the city center in a rikshaw. A neighbor cooks great food for me daily, and I have been taking classical singing lessons with another neighbor who teaches music.
I truly recommend this homestay, especially if you want to immerse yourself in the local culture, language and general vibe.

Had an excellent stay for 2 nights with family. The location was pristine and the lake has a therapeutic effect. It's bit pricey but worth every penny and the staff are so genuine and very helpful. Wish I had stayed for few more days
