The location is excellent for a trip to Galway city as it is on the outskirts set in a beautiful golf course and lake. The room had a lake view which was excellent. The staff gave us the warm irish welcome.

Breakfast restaurant, offered a good selection, with lots of very well presented options, staff were kind and helpful. A special "thank you" to Ronait Chorghaile who went out of her way to look after us, a super friendly person.
Moses the senior waiter (Indian Guy) in the dinner restauraant was very helpful and professional, without him we would have struggled at dinner.
Nice size room with comfortable beds, super view of surrounding countryside and the coastline. Lots of free parking.

Town was excellent
I just stayed one night but would highly recommend this B&B. The room was spotless and the bathroom was obviously newly renovated. The breakfast here was one of the best that I have had and the owner is very friendly and helpful. It's only a couple of minutes walk to the main street. A really good option for Spiddal.
The property was better in reality than the photos on the website, and the location was very handy to Spiddal. We had two small dogs and Patsy was very comfortable with having them stay - which made our stay so much better.
Run by a lovely couple. Welcoming and accomodating. Room was a good size, clean, cosy and comfortable. An easy walkable distance into the centre of Spiddal town. Stayed here after getting off the ferry at Rossaveel, from the Aran Islands. Really enjoyed chatting with Geraldine, sharing stories and practising As Gaeilge with her. Great location to have access to Galway city but also day trips around Connemara and the Aran Islands. Would definitely recommend staying here.
This property is like a home away from home. It is so comfortable, has everything you need and really allows you to relax as it is the perfect house for it! The beds were so comfortable, the couches were amazing and the facilities were top class! You are only a 2 minute drive from Spiddal and a short pleasant coastal drive to Galway city. I can’t speak highly enough about the Uplands
Stayed here four nights and would highly recommend this hotel, staff are friendly food was lovely and DIFFO stay here again! Beach is amazing spiddal is beautiful!
