Location, easy access to everything and bar is nice
Couldn't fault anything during our stay. From the friendly staff, spacious and spotlessly clean room, great location in the centre of kilkenny and an exceptional buffet breakfast we will certainly be back again! Also a beautiful outdoor area overlooking the river and kilkenny Castle. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in.
Hotel staff, facilities, room, food all excellent - we were really happy with our stay and would recommend highly recommend this hotel. The hotel was very close to Kilkenny Castle and all the shops and restaurants in the town.

Lisa is a wonderful host, she had tea/coffee, milk, a loaf of wheaten bread and butter available
Loads of hot water too. It is up two flights of stairs which we were well aware of at the time of booking and this didn't cause us a problem.

The hotel was clean and the beds and bedding comfortable. The parking was very convenient and the hotel close to Kilkenny Castle and great shopping. The breakfast was hot and well prepared with a lot of options.
The location is excellent as is not 500 meters far from city centre and most important attractions in Kilkenny as Kilkenny Castle, Medieval Museum, Pubs and Restaurants. Additional, The Owner Angela is the best and lovely to cross some tales with her, she is a truly writer with amazing histories to tell, you can get her books in the hotel and she lovely can sign it for you. She told us that her first book "not forgotten" could be transferred to a movie. Good luck Angela!
We liked the central location.
Pubs, restaurants and Kilkenny Castle are within walking distance.
The parking lot is not easy to find, but free, large and right next to the hotel.
The breakfast was also very tasty.
As we had informed the hotel in advance there was for my vegan daughter plant-based milk for coffee and a delicious breakfast with vegan sausages, vegan bacon, vegan cheese and more.
Frank was an exceptional very friendly host for our welcome to Ireland. He met us at Ormond Street Car Park and walked us to his apartment familiarizing us with Kilkenny. The location in the Medieval Mile section of Kilkenny was excellent and very walkable, and there were views from the balcony of Kilkenny Castle to the right and even St. Canice's Cathedral at a distance to the left.
