I stayed at the brehon for only a few nights but it is a hidden treasure in killarney, everything was great especially the pool and spa area, and you have to book it in advance so its never too busy, I was impressed, the hotel bedroom was good and the view from the window of the kerry mountains was spectacular.the food in both the lounge bar and breakfast room was top notch, over all I enjoyed my stay, the staff in the hotel were exceptional and went out of their way to assist everyone, it was a birthday present for my 60th birthday.there was even a birthday card in my bed room, overall I was impressed, thanks johnny .

Maura at Reception is a star storyteller who embodies hospitality - she was delightful. Eimer in the restaurant was cheerful and skillful. The blond lady serving breakfast was lovely and attentive (unlike the young support staff).

Lough Lein was absoloutely outstanding. Paul and Annette were the perfect hosts. The hotel itself is so welcoming and spotlessly clean. The room we had was large and had the most beautiful views of the lake. The room was spotless. The breakfast had so much choice and the cooked breakfast was gorgeous.
If I could give it 10 stars I would! We will definitely be staying there again. Wonderful hotel.

We booked the room accidently. Location was great, with view on hills and Gap of Dunloe from terrace. Clean and warm rooms, electric blanket, traditional Irish breakfast - everything was perfect!
Welcoming accommodation with lovely breakfast and a comfortable room. So well positioned to do Ring of Kerry, Gap of Dunloe and a visit to Kate Kearneys Cottage each evening for a meal and Irish entertainment. Also headed to Tralee and Muckross House and the Abbey.
Fergal and Jen are perfect hosts. They welcomed me very kindly, the house is nice and clean, very familiar. The breakfast is really delicious and planty. They had a kind word for everyone, were interested, and gave advices. The house is in a fantastic location, about a 5 minute drive from the Gap of Dunloe. I would go back to them anytime. But the best thing was Loui, the family dog.
The property is beautiful and rooms are big. It's a little outside the town, but walkable.to Kate Kearnys cottage and a perfect location to start the gap of Dunloe walk.
Tim and Nora are absolutely loveley hosts. Rooms are cosy and very tidy.
Wonderful location, right at the foot of Strickeen Mountain, at the start of the Gap of Dunloe.
Great location close to Gap of Dunloe, breathtaking scenery (also particularly convenient if attending event in Dunloe Hotel). Theresa and Eugene are wonderful hosts and did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
The location is amazing. The Ferris Wheel is a beautiful place in an amazing area. Very close to the Ring of Kerry, but apart from that great things to explore close by like the highest mountain of Ireland, Gap of Dunloe, Killarney.. a few very nice places to eat a short walk away. Loved Heathers.
We were provided with nice lunch packages by the very nice hosts.
I would love to visit again!
