Room was very comfortable,with good facilities like fan/coffee machine/iron /hair dryer.Great blackout curtains,lovely breakfast & choice .Bar was lovely and cosy …would definitely recommend staying here & exceptional staff!

Beautiful Main House and Lovely gardens. Nice bar and restaurant. Good quality and range of food and drink. Service fairly friendly. Really good, friendly, welcoming service at breakfast.

We stayed here Saturday night to celebrate our anniversary, such a beautiful hotel with the nicest, friendliest staff, from the minute we walked into the hotel we were treated like royalty, we were actually upgraded to the honeymoon suite by the lovely Stephanie( thank you so much) everything exceeded our expectations, the food was fantastic as was the service there was even a certificate on our table wishing us a happy anniversary, there isn't many hotels around that would go to all that trouble for their guests , by far the best hotel I've stayed in I cannot recommend highly enough.
I would like to thank all the staff & management of the Darnley lodge for making our stay a truly memorable one .
