This is the main gate - just outside is the starting/ending...
This is the main gate - just outside is the starting/ending point for many of the city's bus routes so it all happens here. The downside is that it is also very busy. You access the walls to walk around from this gate entrance (on you left as you come into the city)

Pile gate very nice, unfortunately there is an unpleasant smell all day - most likely because of the sewage system. At the gate there is a stop for all city bus lines and probably some suburban lines.

The location was fabulous being just outside the Old Town walls with a great view of it from the apartment windows, but also having the option of getting to and fro it via the Buza Gate and a slope instead of having to use the many steps at Pile Gate. Apartment was cosy and comfortable and I liked that the hosts would store your luggage for you if needed 👌

Perfect place to stay in Dubrovnik! The apartment is in a great location, close to Pile Gate and the main bus stops. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Great communication from the host and we were even able to leave our bags after check out due to having a late flight. Would recommend this place to anyone!

The view on Dubrovnik port, with the most beautiful sunset The location 650m away of bus station and port which is convenient for people arriving bus bus/boat From there the bus to city center and Pile gate is available and frequent and costs only 2€ A Bolt from the apartment to Pile gate costs only 6€ Spacious and clean apartment, has everything: fully equipped kitchen, laundry machine, space to hang clothes, hot shower, enough blankets The host was nice enough to let us store the luggage until 4 pm which was helpful

The apartment owner, Bozo was prompt and responsive in preparation for a smooth check-in. A couple days before my stay he made the effort to drop me a text first to check on my arrival timing. The apartment is clean, spacious and conveniently located in the old town near Pile Gate. Love the clean crisp tasting drinkable water that comes directly through the tap in the unit.

Everything. Location a short walk into the old town thankfully downhill as Dubrovnik has many many steps everywhere. Easy to get a bus back from Pile Gate number 3 right outside apartment 2 euros. The apartment has the most amazing views over Dubrovnik.It is very well equipped & nicely decorated & very clean too. The mother/son owners are super friendly and welcoming. It really had everything to make our trip special

the two staff that we met were excellent, went the extra mile to make us feel welcome, and arranged a special breakfast for my birthday that fell during our trip. the continental breakfast offered a wide choice, with scrambled eggs or an omelet available if you wished. all in all a lovely boutique sized hotel with only 6 rooms and ideally situated just outside the Pile gate.

Great location, very central and lots of shops/restaurants at the door step. Wonderful and attentive host who provided everything we could need and more. He was always available to contact via WhatsApp, and even met us at Pile gate at 2am when our flight landed to show us to the apartment! Everything was comfortable and clean, views were great and the TV has Netflix so this was great on a rainy morning. We would 100% stay again and recommend this place to everyone.

Everything was wonderful! Slavinca was fantastic and takes great pride in giving guests a superior experience ... none better! Extremely clean and beautifully setup with a lot care in the design of the apartment. It is so close to Pile Gate yet tucked back in a nook making it very private and quiet. You are on Stradum in 1 or 2 minutes tops. THANK YOU for a fabulous stay! Already missing Dubrovnik!

Great spot couple minutes away from Pile Gate/Old Town and Imperial hotel (main pick up spot for any trips), just by the bay, caffe and restaurant. Ivona sent us map how to find the place before we got there what was really helpful (easy contact through either booking.com chat or whatsapp). We had room with kichenette, cosy and comfortable with most of the stuff that you need. It was great place to stay :)
