We love Walworth Castle we spent our wedding night there so holds lots of happy memories for us. This trip was for our wedding anniversary and it didn’t disappoint again. We had an amazing room, the food was really good and our whole stay was perfect. I would like to give a big mention and thank you to Ashley who looked after us in the bar and restaurant she is a lovely lady and nothing was too much trouble for her. We will definitely be back again in the future and would definitely recommend Walworth Castle for a great night away.

Our family liked the castle and liked the original features of the castle, which was the 1st time we stayed in a castle, the breakfast was good, the staff very welcoming and friendly. Although we only stayed for night due to our long drive from London for a meeting in Darlington, we would stay at the Walworth Castle on our future trips to that region.

Walworth Castle is full of history and in a lovely setting. Generous portions at dinner. Ample wine selection. We had an Australian Shiraz, it was beautiful and reasonably priced. The hotel explained that they had a lot of new staff that were still being trained. They all did very well. Made us feel welcome, were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty.
