It was splendid. David is a wonderful host, very friendly and attentive. He also gave good recommendations for walks to do. The one from grassington to kettlewell was particularly nice.
The room is gorgeous. Comfy bed, comfy sofa and a big window looking out over the garden, the river and the greens hills on the other side.
Breakfast came every morning in a basket and was delicious.
We took two lovely walks in the area, which were gorgeous.

There is a shared well-equipped kitchen at guests' disposal plus the Roost lounge/dining room with retro games console and wood burning stove for those cosy nights in. Bathroom facilities are shared, both Daisy Roundhouse and Bluebell lodge have their own ensuite private toilet. The location was beautiful in front of the lake. The boat was free to use and good fun. Plenty of board games, an old school pac man game, alpacas and wallabies! So much stuff to do. The cabin was beautiful and quirky with kitsch decor. Here were tea and coffee facilities and a wood burner. The bed was really comfy too! We felt so relaxed and peaceful and Wendy added some nice personal touches around the place such as a welcome plaque with our names on and hand written messages in the kitchen. Would highly recommend staying here. We will be back!

Lovely lodge and hot tub, had everything you needed. All the lodges are very well spaced out for privacy. Location is easy to find.
The lodges are all together, the three lodges we had were all clean, with mod cons.
The over all feel was great. Beautifully decorated with interesting artworks and theatrical props displays. Free silent disco headphones were brill. Lots of wood, felt like a ski lodge. Very comfy sofas in the snug. Kitchen great. Loved the free fridge and breakfast bits. Mezzanine family room was delightful and kids loved having their own section. Better than a hotel.
Extremely helpful staff, beautifully presented & clean lodges, great central location for exploring. We will be back.
Excellent stay as always - restaurant manager really on the ball - excellent service - normally stay in either lodges or a bay twin but due to availability were in room 301 which was a great little room and exceeded our expectations!
The luxury lodges are well thought out and have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Our dog Bailey enjoyed the enclosed garden. Rachael the host ensured a smooth check in. The welcome pack which included a pack of eggs was a lovely touch. Lovely walks around the area and a great pub (bluebell Inn) within walking distance across the fields along a bridle path. The area is beautiful and well kept, the hot tub was absolutely amazing, the lodges themselves were super clean, the food was brilliant, the staff are so lovely and feels very homely, very attentive and welcoming!
Staff were very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Lodges were lovely and hot tub was great, room to park two cars next to lodge which was brilliant. On site pub was gorgeous, had a lovely feel, good range of food and alcohol and outside seating. We had a fantastic stay and are keen to book again in the future. Loved the quiet, secluded feel - even though there are multiple lodges it still felt like you were in your own little bubble!
We absolutely love it here! The stay is always great. The rooms are comfortable, the attention to detail in all areas are spot on. The food is always top notch, the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The ambience of the whole place is on point. We would highly recommend the tickled trout to stay there or eat in the restaurant. The outdoor “ski lodge” with fondue, raclette, log burner etc is great. Well done to everyone, especially Ian, Katie & Donald. We will be back and look toward to seeing you all again soon!
