Fabulous location just a 10 minute walk from the centre of Chepstow. Great for local attractions, Chepstow Castle, Tintern Abbey and for access to Forest of Dean. A charming house furnished with antique-style furniture and lots of house plants. Brand new modern kitchen and bathroom. Very well appointed with kitchen accessories. Beds were very comfortable. Fantastic value for money.
Elizabeth and Rodney were very kind and it would be impossible to find more helpful hosts. Helping us to achieve our aims of attending racing on Armed Forces day at Chepstow Race Course and ensuring we were able to visit Tintern Abbey. Thanks to them both for an enjoyable visit to Chepstow.
This was one of the few places we stayed on our trip that offered breakfast. We enjoyed our stay as everything was within easy walking distance--the river, the restaurants, the castle, a grocery store and gas station, and free parking. Chepstow is also a short drive away from Tintern Abbey as well. While we didn't try the pizza, the hotel did have a stone oven pizza pub in the evening hours. We only stayed one night, but we both loved the Chepstow area.
We stayed 3 nights at the Loft. It is a superb apartment, clean and spacious, and perfectly located to explore the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley (including attractions like Chepstow Castle and Tintern Abbey) as they are only a short drive away. Although we did not meet our hosts personally, communication with them by e-mail was easy and they were really helpful. The biscuits, tea, and coffee were a nice welcome touch.
Light, big rooms very well appointed and luxurious. Fresh flowers in kitchen. Luxury bed and pillows, Egyptian cotton covers, and totally quiet at night. Thoughtful touches provided throughout by the hosts. Wonderful location with Tintern Abbey within walking distance on footpaths across grasy fields.
Fantastic B&B.
Lovely big, clean room with everything I needed provided.
Elizabeth was a Fantastic host, and breakfast was a banquet!
Good WiFi and Adequate parking in a great location between Chepstow and Tintern Abbey.
Dave, the owner told us about attractions in Chepstow,,which were Chepstow Castle, Tintern Abbey and the Bridge. The meals were great. Lively place. Great atmosphere.
Great location and very comfortable accommodation.
We had a great walk to Tintern Abbey from the cottage and the instructions and information were very helpful.
