Really lovely hotel stay for my Partners birthday. The hotel made a real fuss of us, including a birthday plate at lunchtime, box of chocs in the room and a mimosa at breakfast. My partner was pleasantly surprised o the standard of teh hotel.

All staff attentive and well trained. Very good English breakfast. Continental so-so. Comfy bed and good shower. Rooms traditional but well decorated.

excellent big plus is for carla on reception very helpful kind and professional. Breakfast was superb .As we are quite elderly we found getting in and out of the shower difficult so we asked if it was possible to change rooms to one that had a walk in shower and this was done again by Carla to a lovely room with a wet room.
