The room was very nice and very comfortable . First class shower. Best in England and in Europe. The lighting was also the best 4 start hotel we had in this European trip. Staff were so friendly and cannot fault their attitude, spa was spotless and very relaxing. Breakfast also lovely, not an amazing selection but I'm sure they would have rustled us up something off the menu if we asked. Location is brilliant if you like walking, we had a hearty breakfast and decided to go for a 6 mile walk (basically a big old loop around Stock), which was just what was needed, then a nice little dip in the pool and jacuzzi to relax, perfect!
The hotel is situated next to the terminal, an easy 5 min walk with stairs or lift access down to it. The hotel is modern and rooms spacious. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet and had a good selection of food. I also had an evening meal which I enjoyed and was served very quick! 12pm checkout was great let me relax after breakfast before heading for flight
The room was nice and big, spacious and a huge bed. The facilities were great with lifts on every level. There were a complementary breakfast which included hot drinks fresh fruit etc. The staff were very helpful and fast at getting me checked in. The room was great, with a mini bar, safe, tv and free Wi-Fi around. The pool was amazing, very relaxing and also a sauna and steam room. Was a nice place before my flight
The ability to unwind, with lots of greenery around the grounds and being one with nature. The relaxed atmosphere was great. The staff are extremely friendly and pleasant. The spa facilities were adequate for the time being spent there. The massages were great.. all in all, an amazing 2 night stay.
We had a pleasant stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The hosts - John and Elizabeth were extremely friendly and offered a great experience to their guests. Kids loved playing with their pet dog and had plenty of space to play and relax . King room with additional lounge , delicious breakfast , main lounge , access to a big garden are ideal for families to spend quality time . If you are looking for quiet and calm place to stay for a good price , definitely recommend Barnfields . We will be definitely booking again .

The hotel is set in lovely grounds and within walking distance of the village. The pool and sauna area were very clean and relaxing. Lovely room, very comfortable beds. Breakfast had a wide selection to suit all and very reasonably priced.
The Black Bull Inn was welcoming and relaxing. The staff were friendly and incredibly attentive (even when I was very unwell during my stay). The room was spacious, quiet and clean. Ample of choice for breakfast too.
Plenty of parking spaces and it's free. Lovely swimming pool and sauna, not busy. Good size room. Breakfast was really good and plenty to choose from even for a fussy eater.
