From our arrival James was an amazing front of house. All the staff were fantastic. James thoroughly spoilt us. Breakfast probably the best breakfast I have had in accommodation. Room was lovely and comfortable. Special little touches to include still and sparkling water on tap, little sweeties naughty naughty (but great idea) in the rooms, china crockery for your coffee in the morning which is a must. All in all as you can tell , the 12 in our party were all 'over the moon' with in particular James, staff and the Square Town House.

Perfect location near the beach and the Lanes. Keycode access made popping in and out for our group easy. Some great resaurants nearby including the Argentine steak house up the road. Will be booing agan.

The apartment was very beautiful and cosy! Walking distance from the train station and the beach! Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Was also walking distance to the lanes which was great! Instructions for check in was easy as well!
Would recommend this hotel to anyone. It has everything. Every single staff member that we encountered was polite, friendly, and welcoming. The rooms are amazingly comfortable with massive king sized beds. The breakfast in the morning was delicious with an abundance of choice and selection available. The location is 10/10 - perfect for the beach and the pier but also perfect for shopping and The Lanes. If you’re going to Brighton, this is the hotel to choose!
Location is absolutely perfect, literally a 5 minute walk to the beach and the Lanes, very central and easy to find. The apartments were well decorated, clean and spacious. It was easy to check ourselves in and out. Couldn't have asked for more really. It was a beautiful weekend by the sea
A beautiful, boutique like hotel overlooking the sea and the Pier. Free parking an excellent breakfast. Friendly and attentive staff. Walking distance (10 minutes) from the Lanes and Royal Pavillion).
The property was in a superb location for both the lanes and seafront. It was sparkling clean with modern facilities and a very comfortable bed and sofa bed. We were upgraded to a sea view apartment and as it was my birthday we got complimentary drinks. The staff were all so nice too.
A lovely old hotel, and excellent position close to the pier and The Lanes, with great ocean and promenade view from my double room at the front. Both the room and bathroom were large and well appointed The Old Ship will be my first choice in Brighton on future visits.
From the minute we stepped in the door the quality of finish to the interior was spot on, a very clean , modern and cosy apartment , it has all you need , would definitely stay there again and would recommend.
Free parking is an absolute bonus , as when I checked the car park hourly rates they were extortionate, there is a bus stop near the property which we went to the lanes and marina… had an amazing Birthday weekender at the festival in Brighton with affordable accommodation.
The train station was literally just a few steps from the hotel. The staff were friendly and kind. The hotel seems far from the lanes and the beach, but it wasn't really. The breakfast offered a variety of food, and the room was clean, and the price was just right.
