Overall the stay was very plesant. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful when it came to local knowledge (and when I needed some charge for my phone!).
The room was clean and had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and body lotion - so a win all round for me!
The bed was ... fine - not the comfiest bed I've stayed in but fine for the night.
Breakfast was included and fine - the waffles were actually very good!
they have a security person on the door when you come back late who checks your room key and asks what room you are staying in - this is great and made me feel safe.

Perfectly located budget hotel, 5/10 minutes walk from the Central Station, close to the quayside, and 10 minutes walk from the Gateshead Sage/Glasshouse, the easyHotel exceeded my expectations.
The staff were warm and friendly, and my room was bright and clean with a very modern bathroom.
For the price paid, this was an excellent hotel, and well recommended for a short stay!
PS the hotel is also right next door to the Crown Posada, one of the oldest and most characterful pubs in Newcastle!
The location was great, 10min walk away from the gate and digital. The staff were great, happy to help in anyway we needed. Value for money considering we were barely in the room.
Reception staff were kind and accommodating, family room was ideal for me and my friends and very cheap considering how easy it is to get to the centre via the Gateshead metro.
