Easy Check in and found parking space in front of hotel. Very nice bathroom. Quaint old victorian charm. Staff generally helpful. Main lounge overlooking the sea was lovely with superb outlook.

Quirky old place that i've always wanted to stay at when passing by. Has a very particular clientele of slightly aloof mainly older folk who like to a bit of exclusivity and grandeur but can't quite afford the actual stuff. Stayed with a friend after a walk in Purbeck that got waylayed by a few drinks in Swanage. So stayed here, and why not. The room was good, if a little old-fashioned. Actually it was a family room comprising two connected rooms with separate bathrooms, so we lucked out probably. There's a great little bar with bar billiards, which is something you rarely see these days. The main lobby/corridor has some quirky collections in cabinets, and a giant armchair. The restaurant/breakfast room is huge. Many rooms have a sea view.

Very comfortable property in excellent location, close to everything we needed, such as shops, buses, the Swanage Railway and seafront.
Because there is limited parking outside the house, our hosts helpfully provided a free pass for the main beach car park.
Breakfast : Wide choice of items, freshly cooked, served by friendly efficient staff
Room : Warm, clean, well provisioned.
Location: Ideal for our trip to the Polar Express Steam Train Experience at the Swanage Railway.
Ideally located near shops, pubs, restaurants. The seafront is 10 minutes walk down the hill and the Swanage railway also 10 minutes away.
Tastefully decorated and fully equipped with quality furnishings.
Very quiet at night so we slept well.
The breakfast was excellent. I had neglected to select a rate that included breakfast but the people running the B&B were happy to add this. The property was within walking distance of Swanage amenities, notably for me the Swanage Railway and was also not that far from Durlston Castle where on the first night I attended a Shanties "concert" by the Wareham Walers which was great fun. By walking I avoided moving the car.
This apartment is in a superb location, on the ground floor, and just a few minutes walk to the beach, parks, amusements, town centre and of course, the great Swanage Railway station. It includes 2 free parking spaces - which are essential for this town in summer. The kitchen area is brand new and everything works smoothly. Jo was very helpful and quick to respond to guide us on a few initial queries to get us settled in. Would certainly consider returning.
Lovely, homely apartment. Excellent location and great to have parking. Very short walk to beach and Swanage Railway.
Comfortable beds, and really nice living spaces. Bright and airy. Plenty of storage space.
Plenty of cooking utensils, pots, pans and crockery. Kitchen is small but perfectly functional and easy to cook a family meal.
Nice to have shelves of books, games and puzzles (and netflix!).
Nice to have a washing machine.
We loved it and have booked again for next year!
Good location, just a short walk to the seafront and shops. Close to the station for the Swanage railway but also an excellent bus service including the open top buses to Studland and Bournemouth.
Comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast.
Our stay was quite comfortable. The apartment is a short walk away from Swanage Railway and Bus Stations, and also from most of the local attractions. The apartment was very clean and cozy and had all necessary amenities. It is also equipped with a microwave, a grill & a refrigerator. In addition to tea and coffee, we were also provided cereals and milk for breakfast. The host, Karen, was quite friendly & cordial. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would love to come here again.
