Mortons Manor, hotel in Swanage

This beautiful 16th-century manor house offers incredible views across the Dorset countryside from its terrace.

Lovely manner of the staff, good old fashioned service in the best sense. The ladies in reception were very helpful, specially with arrangements to deal with an unexpected problem with our car. Thank you to them. This was our second visit, I'm sure we will return.

Very comfortable property in excellent location, close to everything we needed, such as shops, buses, the Swanage Railway and seafront. Because there is limited parking outside the house, our hosts helpfully provided a free pass for the main beach car park.

The breakfast was excellent. I had neglected to select a rate that included breakfast but the people running the B&B were happy to add this. The property was within walking distance of Swanage amenities, notably for me the Swanage Railway and was also not that far from Durlston Castle where on the first night I attended a Shanties "concert" by the Wareham Walers which was great fun. By walking I avoided moving the car.

This apartment is in a superb location, on the ground floor, and just a few minutes walk to the beach, parks, amusements, town centre and of course, the great Swanage Railway station. It includes 2 free parking spaces - which are essential for this town in summer. The kitchen area is brand new and everything works smoothly. Jo was very helpful and quick to respond to guide us on a few initial queries to get us settled in. Would certainly consider returning.

Lovely, homely apartment. Excellent location and great to have parking. Very short walk to beach and Swanage Railway. Comfortable beds, and really nice living spaces. Bright and airy. Plenty of storage space. Plenty of cooking utensils, pots, pans and crockery. Kitchen is small but perfectly functional and easy to cook a family meal. Nice to have shelves of books, games and puzzles (and netflix!). Nice to have a washing machine. We loved it and have booked again for next year!

Our stay was quite comfortable. The apartment is a short walk away from Swanage Railway and Bus Stations, and also from most of the local attractions. The apartment was very clean and cozy and had all necessary amenities. It is also equipped with a microwave, a grill & a refrigerator. In addition to tea and coffee, we were also provided cereals and milk for breakfast. The host, Karen, was quite friendly & cordial. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would love to come here again.
