In a word EVERYTHING.
Room with sea view. Huge king-size bed. Sooo comfortable. No creaking bedsprings or floorboards. Thick blackout curtains. Sun all day. Views of beach. Come and go when you want. Easy checkin. Late check out (12 noon). Good shower.
A big plus for us was the bus service outside door virtually as we had no car. Runs every 15 mins until very late.
Also a really nice park just quarter mile way. Excellent tea bar with decent menu. Feed the ducks on the big duck pond. Beautifully maintained. Peaceful.

We took a beautiful walk,to Shoeburyness.
We took a beautiful walk,to Shoeburyness. Beautiful day sunshine blue skies.sat and had lunch plus the best Mr Whippy ice cream.sat for couple of hours.enjoyed the peace n quite.compared with Southend. Then walked back to our hotel.we also walked to Westcliff sands.another Beautiful place. as is leigh on sea..so my and friend me enjoyed it all.

A couple of minor problems with the room key and safe were fixed as soon as we asked. We received free drinks as compensation - not necessary, but well appreciated.

Great old building in the most historical sea front terrace in Southend. Nice walks to be had in the clifftop gardens along to the Cliffs Pavilion. Great view of Southend Pier!
Lovely, clean and comfortable B&B located opposite the beach about 5 minutes drive from Southend pier. Quiet location. Car parking was free, outside the property and relatively easy to find a space but perhaps less so in peak periods (which we were not). Very helpful and friendly staff. Healthy breakfast and plenty of it. Very clean. We had a top floor room with sea view and balcony, with a very nice ensuite shower and toilet. Nothing to fault. Well decorated and maintained. Would recommend and stay again
We had an amazing 3 nights stay in this apartment. The Southend Pier is just 5 minutes walk from this place and all the attractions are within walking distance. The apartment is equipped with most of the basic amenities, you'll surely enjoy your stay here.
