The hotel is in a quiet location not far from the promenade and a 10-15 minute walk into the town
centre. There is a bus stop nearby for the town or to go up the coast. Breakfast is all waitress service and is excellent. Staff are all lovely and friendly.
The Resolution Hotel offers en suite accommodation in the very heart of Whitby, just 400 metres from Whitby's stunning beach and piers.

Our room was absolutely stunning, we stayed in the Joseph Banks Super King with the Fishtank. The whole room was spotless, the presentation was amazing. Bathroom was amazing, from shower the the jet bath & TV at the bottom of the bath was a great touch.
The bedroom was, again, amazing, big comfy bed, fish tank is a really night addition, for any light sleepers, it’s silent, we couldn’t hear it. Temperature of the room was quite warm, but we had 3 fans supplied to kept the temperature nice, one of the fans was really silent so didn’t disrupt any sleep.
I really can’t speak highly enough of our stay & we would definitely stay again & I’ve already recommended the hotel to others for if they choose to stay in Whitby. For the price, I really don’t think you’ll find somewhere better.
Parking was easy, we stayed in the Silver Streets
carpark which is a literal 2 minute walk round the corner.
