We loved everything about The Forge barn! The little touches were so lovely. Booked for my husband’s 40th and loved the prosecco, chocolates and birthday banner. It made our stay extra special. The kitchen was so well equipped and the hot tub was great!

I stayed here for one night with 4 of my family members (3 generations) and none of us had a single complaint. The sofas and beds were very comfortable, good nights sleep all round. The lodge is actually quite spacious, clean, nicely decorated and loaded with nearly everything you’d need. I was pleasantly surprised to find a dishwasher, washing machine, on-sweat bathroom in the double room, toilet roll and hand soap in both bathrooms, 4 tvs (one in the living room and one in each bedroom), a draw full of utensils, cupboard full of crockery and drinking vessels, cupboard full of cleaning supplies and a cupboard full of replenishments inc. dishwasher tablets, soap, kitchen roll etc.
The was even a hair dryer and curling iron 🤯
The only things that were not supplied was a towel and toiletries. The host informed us that towels would not be supplied prior to the date and I wouldn’t have expected or needed additional toiletries. So, definitely not a downside for me.
We met the host when we arrived and he was very friendly and accommodating.
